I spent $950 on some ac compressor work. The job was done on time and for the quoted price. Although they did charge an additional $69.95 for coming out to diagnose the issue. They checked the warranty status of my old compressor and overall I believe the tech did a good job. I talked to who I believed was the owner of this establishment and paid the bill over the phone with my Visa. Three months later I received a past due notice. Each time I talked to them they were nice, promised to research the issue, and call me back. I called them at least 4 times over the next 4 weeks and received 1 phone call back. They had no records that I paid them. They finally resolved the issue after I emailed the electronic receipt they sent me months earlier and a copy of my credit card statement. So to sum it up, the actual work performed was acceptable and I probably would have used them again if it weren't for their accounting practices. Unreturned phone calls and no record of my payment are unacceptable.

They were quick and honest with their bid. When we had a problem they were quick to come out and check it and it works. The price was not unreasonable. We are pretty happy with their service.

They are an excellent company to work with. We had an issue when they were installing the heating element up in our attic; we have a sprinkler system here and they stepped on a line and broke the line. It was truly an accident. The owner came out and they fixed it; they were in touch with us everyday.They did an excellent job setting up the air conditioner. We were happy with the work. They had the best price. They were on time and very polite. They are a very well operated company.

Air Clinic came out and did the entire job in one day, cleaning up everything very well and leaving only after everything was finished and clean. Their installation techs are employees who have been doing this for them a long time and are very experienced installers. The installation is clean and professionally done to code. Outside new copper lineset was covered with metal sheathing to prevent theft and was done in a professional way. The tech spent about 20 minutes at the end of the day showing me how to use the new programmable thermostat. A week or so after installation another representative came out to check the entire system, answer any questions, and make sure that everything was up to their normal high standards. He also answered a few questions I had about the thermostat. We are extremely happy with this system and with their work - high quality, professional, punctual, and clean. We highly recommend them!

A/C went out in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. Located Ellis Air and they came out within a couple of hours and quickly repaired a wire that had burned out.

Don with air clinic came out to our home late in the evening on a Sunday. He was able to replace the condenser fan motor that evening and had our AC running cold before midnight. Over the last week, the outside unit was making such a loud noise you could hear it from the street in front of the house. I spoke with (Marshall?) today, 9/19/2012, and he had our original AC specialist out to the house before 6 PM. After inspecting the unit, Don found that the fan motor he installed had gone bad. He replaced the motor, along with a new capacitor, and had the unit running like new. This was covered under warranty and I had NO additional cash out of pocket. I would highly recommend Air Clinic to anyone needing AC repair. They stand beside their work and are fair and honest!ver

Air conditioner was not working so I called Air Clinic. I had used them previously on a different house and was happy with the previous job. Bobby came out as scheduled to run a diagnostic check. It turns out the fan motor was bad. Since the system was 16 years old, it made little sense to spend $500 on a new fan. The downside was that the installers were busy on other jobs (since the temperature outside was 100 degrees plus), so it took a week to get a crew to install the new furnace and air conditioner. To make it a bit more livable for that week, Bobby installed a portable air conditioner unit in the living room. On the day of the installation, the crew showed up as scheduled. It took about 8 hours to install the entire system. In addition to replacing the furnace and A/C, they also replaced the outside cut-off box, the wiring to the A/C compressor, as well as the air intake duct in the attic. Upon completion, the system appeared to be working. The crew did a good job of laying down protective cloth on the carpet before they started the job, and also in cleaning up when they finished. One week later we called for an inspection as Bobby previously suggested, just to make sure the system was running most efficiently. Bobby did a thorough inspection, and additionally replaced the breaker switch to match the requirements of the system. About a week later we noticed a leak in the drain line in the attic. We called Air Clinic, and Bobby came out and repaired the drain line. I would recommend Air Clinic and would use them again in the future.

My daughter called me at 4:45 p.m. to tell me her A/C had gone out. I gave her the Air Clinic number I had found on Angie's list. She called them and they said they would have someone out around 5:30 p.m. Around 5:30 the repairman showed up. He found a blown capacitor on the compressor unit. He repaired the unit and did a thorough check including checking the freon level. The unit was back up and running by 6:30 p.m. She was amazed and relieved!

My AC was blowing inside and not cooling the house. I checked the outside unit and saw it wasn't working. I called AirClinic because of previous good reports on Angie's list and their proximity. They initially said they couldn't get to us until after 3:pm, but Don Ryan (AirClinic) called before lunch and said he could make it out earlier. I described the situation to him and withing 5 minutes he had identified the problem as the "Run Capacitor." Once he changed it, he also checked the freon, which was good. Don was very professional and courteous with a good since of humor. I was impressed and will call AirClinic in the future with my AC needs.

Very well. The repairman was very smart and fast. The repair was done in 45 minutes.

Very thorough work was performed. The tech took the time to show us how to put the AC filter in and some other hot points to look foras we care for the Unit. He check outside and inside for any and all possibilites of things that may have needed immediate attention. The only thing that was found was the lines needed to be drained and blown out. The technician took it a step further to discuss the possibility of a new furnance and what that would cost us out of pocket. He showed us how to care for the current furnace as it is older so you have to be gentle to ensure it is being cared for properly . It really helps to have a knowledgable person o hand to tell you about stuff that you could care less to be a subject matter expert in. We did not feel like we were being sold any additional services on what was needed at the time. He was on time, communication was out of the world, level of customer service was awesome, and work ethic was flawless. I will definitlely use this company again as well as refer out.

I was so pleased with this company that I will be telling all my friends and neighbors about them. On Friday morning, we realized that the a/c was humming and not cooling at all. Called Air Clinic about 9:00 a.m. and they, much to my surprise, said they would be out between 11:00 - 1:00. They called when they were 15 minutes away and arrived about noon. Mike was so polite and professional and within just a few minutes told me that the Blower Fan was out. He had an extra one in the truck and put the new fan in. Then he checked my refrigerant and told me it was a little low. Put about a pound in the system and didn't charge me for that at all. I presented my Angies List coupon for a free service call ($69.95) but Mike also said he wouldn't charge me for the $49.95 estimate fee. It only cost me $503.00 and I was up and running. He told me if I had any problem, don't hesitate to call. I could not believe that this company came out so soon in July and 100 degree weather, were so courteous and efficient. He was out of my house by 12:30 and the rest of my day was freed up to do my errands. So many times I have waited for a/c repairmen to come and they would say that they couldn't come uintil 4 days later and then take hours to complete the work, and they always tried to gouge me on the price. One even went so far as to tell me that I needed a new a/c when my newly built house was 6 months old. I would recommend Air Clinic of Ellis County to anyone in Ellis County. I give them a A+++++++++++ and will always call them when I have an a/c problem.

I originally had a ceiling furr down duct system. I wanted to replace that system and got 3 bids from HAVC companies I found on Angie's List. Although I felt good about the other two companies, either their equipment, timing, or contract was not preferable to Air Clinic's. I chose Air Clinic because the owner came out to bid the job (which wasn't the case with the other two HVAC companies) and I felt that whatever happened it would be taken care of because I was impressed with the owner and felt he would uphold a high standard of workmanship and professionalism, which he did. He spent a lot of time explaining the installation process and materials and patiently addressed all my questions His install crew, office manager, and quality control team were great. I was impressed with his whole team.

I decided to use Air Clinic based off of the Angie's List Reviews. I called last week and spoke to Brenda, who was extremely professional and pleasant. It was nice to get scheduled so quickly, even with a coupon. I often feel that when using a promotion with companies you get pushed to the back of the line so to speak. The technician, Don, arrived during the scheduled window of time. He called in advance to let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived, he greeted me in a pleasant manner and went right to work. I had several questions for him which he answered. He came across as both knowledgeable and trustworthy. It took him about 45 minutes from start to finish. He found nothing wrong with my unit or system, so I was just charged the base $49.95 which I feel is very reasonable. Air Conditioning companies are usually near the top as far as hidden charges, or make-believe problems but kudos to Air Clinic for not doing business this way. Don was terrific to work with. He is very friendly, yet knowledgable as well. I will ask for him in the future. All in all, this was an excellent experience for me from start to finish! I concur with others that this is a very honest company, with fair pricing and great service. I will definitely use them in the future, and would rate them a 10/10 for sure based on my experience.

The air conditioner was not working. Neither the blower in the attic nor the A/C compressor outdoors was running. After attempting to fix the problem myself, I determined that it was beyond my skills. I searched for A/C service companies on Angie's List. After looking at the reviews I selected Air Clinic since they have a good rating and are fairly close to my house. I called Air Clinic last night just after 5PM and talked to Brenda. She asked if I needed someone right away, and I told her that it was not an emergency. She scheduled the technician for between 3PM - 5PM today. The technician (Bobby) promptly showed up today just before 3PM as scheduled. He was very knowledgeable and professional in diagnosing the problems with the transformer and thermostat. He also installed in-line fuses to protect the transformer. I highly recommend Air Clinic, and will call them next time I have HVAC needs.

The guy was very nice, knowledgable and he was very good at what he did. Their prices are comparable.

I had a leak in my AC unit. I called them in the morning and set up an appointment for that afternoon. They called ahead of time before coming to the house (like they said they would) and they were on time. They were fast, professional, and friendly.

It went really well, had one of the best prices for a trane system. It is a little hard sometimes getting work done with a tenet, but they really worked with me. Definitely use them again.

Joe Lefkoski came out and inspected my system, and found the entire system - inside and outside machines - completely shot and in need of replacement. Joe went further and assisted me in getting my HWA to pay for the replacement, despite the warranty being expired by then, because they insisted on continuing to send out the same incompetent company to service my A/C despite the fact that nothing every changed when they left. I asked my HW to let Air Clinic to do the replacement, but they instead sent out the same incompetent company they used all along.

This guy is good...very, very honest and a nice guy. The crew that put in the unit was very good as well. I am going to use them for my maintenance contract too.

Seth was very easy to work with. He met us whenever and wherever we needed him to. He even had to go buy some extra ductwork after getting started on the installation, but he did not charge us extra for it. The new unit has performed very well for us.

Air Clinic was called early in the day and came to my home later that afternoon. The service man was punctual and after checking the whole system diagnosed the problem. He had the part with him and was able to replace it immediately. Considering that the summer of 2011 has been a record breaker for days over 100 degrees I was extremely grateful for Air Clinic's quick response to my problem. My only complaint was the cost of the compressor fan. For those who don't know, the compressor fan sits on top of the compressor unit and blows the air up and out of the compressor. It resembles a medium size floor fan. It was $371.00. That fan probably costs them $40.00 tops. My brother who is a contractor in another state told me I really overpaid for the cost of the fan. I really wish Air Clinic would consider not making such a high mark up on parts. It really makes their customer feel taken. Their service diagnostic fee was $70.00.

The technician arrived on time, was knowledgeable and congenial and went right to work, knew what he was doing. He was diagnosing after another company did not follow through. His diagnosis was much less costly. To help drive home the point that I needed a new compressor, the previous company shut off the system at the cutoff so my A/C would not run. The gentleman from Air Clinic flipped the switch and pushed the contactor and my compressor came to life. Because no parts wre ordered and no work was done other than the service call, the technician gave me his cell number to call in case the air died on me and I needed him to come back. The cool stayed on and I did not need to call him. This was a positive experience.

Seth was excellent to work with. I like to hire people I trust and he is one that I trust and would recommend to friends. I had about 7 companies give me quotes on the systems. Seth wasn't the lowest but he was competitve and I was comfortable that he would do a quality job. He also was very helpful in matching up which systems would qualify for federal tax credits and the then texas rebates. We set up a date and his people arrived (albeit a little later than expected) and finished the job in the two days expected. The downstairs system works like a charm, but we needed to have them come back and adjust the upstairs system which they were happy to do. I've read enough about installing a/c systems that I understood that there are some adjustments that need to occur for after the install to fit your comfort. We have and would continue to recommend Seth to friends. He is a true professional.
