The limbs were from a light trimming of two relatively small Live Oak trees in my front yards. The limbs were neatly stacked at the curb. His first estimate was $60 to haul them away. I told him absolutely not! About three days later, not wanting to deal with the situation any longer, I called him and offer $50. He accepted. I'd rather get my money's worth for a less than perfect job, than pay three times for a good job.

One of the owners of the company came out to our home to give us an estimate for the job we wanted done to correct a drainage issue we had shortly after we contacted them. Armando was very professional and polite and explained the options for our drainage issue and determined the French drain was the best option. He quoted us a very reasonable price and within a few days his crew came out and completed the job quickly and professionally. This is the company to use for your landscaping needs if you want work done at a reasonable price, completed professionally, and treated like a valued customer with no up-selling.

The did a great job. I give them a rave review. They were very pleasant and courteous.

We have used Armando and his brother for several years and are highly appreciative of the quality of work they provide. They have not only maintained the landscape, but have installed several tons of stonework, repaired support pillars for our deck, and have installed and upgraded our irrigation system. The property is heavily treed and is next to Rush creek, and their year-round attention to detail helps keep to enhance the beauty of the property. His team has the highest integrity, and they have skills ranging from typical yard work to stone work, fencing, deck repair and irrigation systems.

Eva came out and gave me their estimate ( which was bteer than any other at the time) and a detailed description of when they would do the work and what was to be accomplished. Workers arrived on time, performed all the work and hualed off all debris Since then he has done work for two other friends upon my recommendation. The last was an $18,000 dollar job that included trimming 123 trees and a full irrigation system where the home sits on two lots. They were extremely pleased also.

Overall, the experience was excellent. A&M came and provide a quote on Friday, June 14th and was able to remove the tree the same day. I really appreciate their flexibility and will definitely use them for any future needs.

We bought house and as part of the inspection was to correct grading in the back yard to correct drainage due to excessive water gathering. The previous owner hired Armando to fix the problem but made it worse. Took over 2 weeks to get him to respond, but finally came on 7/3/13 to correct problem after many phone calls from previous owner. Sad thing is my husband had to tell him what was wrong & how to correct. We will see if their fix works once we have a good rain. I would not hire him for any drainage problems!!!

claims I chose wood. I chose TREATED wood which was placed down and is UNTREATED. boards are crooked, nails used and screws are to be used on decks and now nails are popping up and wood is splitting. boards loose and uneven and unsafe to walk on. stain/paint I paid for was 5 five gal drums. He used 2/3 of ONE 5 gal drum and took others home and I paid for all 5. workers were day labors and never the same each day and project was lengthy. they never worked on a deck before (their words) and it shows. Better Business Bureau contacted and this company advised they were repair or make corrections. They never did. Work still needs to be done and I spent $9600.00 for this now useless deck that lasted not one year. Owner should make restitution for deck. His other services were great over the years I used them and MANY referrals and new clients used him because of me. Then he does this to my deck. Great disappointment for what was once a good man and his brother/company. Always made me pay cash but his daughter (manager) states always accepted credit cards. With a credit card I would have had recourse. Very sad, disturbing. Could be handled still is owner would take responsibility for shoddy workmanship. I am willing to work out an arrangement still after all this time as I have tried for 2 yrs. to get this taken care of.

I got an estimate last fall for repairing the patio and re-doing the flower bed in the front yard. We decided to re-do the flower bed ourselves. We also took up all the pavers ourselves to save a little money. What we saved and the Angie's list coupon for first time users allowed us to install gutters on the front of the house as well as the back. The crew arrived on time. They were very efficient and careful about doing the job right.

We have been working with A&M Landscaping for years and they are the ones we call when we need anything done relating to our landscaping. We called the office and a very pleasant young lady took a message and had Armando get right back to us. Armando came by our home and gave us a great plan to make the area in question look beautiful and be functional but also take care of our drainage concerns. The project was done in less than 2 days and Armando came back on the 2nd day to ensure that his crew had put his vision into place and that we were happy and satisfied. He is dependable and he has a pretty wide range of projects he can work on.

The crews were punctual, hard working and efficient. They were like busy bees all over the yard! It still took several days because we had so much that needed to be done, but they completed the job in the time frame they had said. In the end, the house looked clean, neat, and I believe the enhanced "curb appeal" is a big reason it sold after not being on the market too long.

The estimate was little high so I went with a different landscaper.

In hindsight with today.s responce to work the over all experience was really better than expected. If he had just called and put us off for a few days he would gotten an A. There was not a problem with just postponing the work just the problem of not knowing if he woud ever come do the work or should we get back to looking for someone else. The funny thing is that he is a friend of the guy that cuts our grass. I then looked him up and was pleased that he wason Angies list. There was fair warning about his no show and tardiness problem but since he was a friend of our lawn mantenince guy I thought he would be promt with us. That said, our lawn company also comes just any day of the week from Thursday through Saturday..So, common sense should have warned us.....Judy Strawn

I enjoyed talking to Angelo; he was an honest man. I would do business with him, but the bid was just too high for me. I would even recommend him based on my meeting with him! I didn't contact anyone else to bid against him, however.

This company is awesome! They did an excellent job!!! We had an old Bartlet Pear tree in our front yard. It looked as though it was going to fall down at any time. With one of the very large limbs hanging over our neighbor's bedroom, we decided it should be removed as soon as possible. We were expecting a storm the following day or two, and were hoping to get it out before the storm. We called Armondo's company and they responded promptly to our request. When they came out to inspect the tree they discovered it was hollow inside. We didn't even notice as it was covered with a pile of leaves which had apparently settled atop the hole. But they knew where to check and reached their arm all the down inside. We knew then we made the right decision to have it removed right away. Our other Bartlet Pear tree was very old as well, and it's limbs were all sagging low, and looked as though it may cause some problems in the near future. It's located on the corner of our "corner" lot and if a limb facing the street were to fall it could possibly land on a car. Armondo's company informed us that the removal of this tree could wait for approximately three years, but recommended having it trimmed now, and yearly hereafter. They also found that a couple of limbs from our oak tree were hanging close/over the front of our two story house and recommened only trimming that one. We had also explained to them that a few months ago, we hired another company to remove eight smaller trees from around the house. One of them was a pretty good size and they had to grind it's stump But Armondo's company noticed that they didn't grind it all the way down like they should have, and the area where it had been grinded was sinking. They explained it was because they did not mix the remaining mulch with dirt and cover it. So, they said they could re-grind it and fill the hole with mixed mulch and dirt for an extra $50. On the day the work was performed, they worked several hours (up to approximately 8:00 p.m.). Grinding the huge stump of the tree which was removed proved to be difficult and they had to send a couple of guys to get the big equipment to do the job of mulching the huge pieces being removed. They were all professional and pleasant to work with. They all took their job very serious and did an excellent job. When we decide it's time to remove the other Bartlet Tree we will call Armondo at A&M Landscaping for sure. Even our neighbors were impressed with this company and two of them asked for their information so they can use them when they are ready to take their tree(s) out. I highly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed. They do an excellent job for a very reasonable price.

We moved into a house this summer that had not been lived in for a couple of years. The yards (back and front) were overgrown and neglected. I found A&M through Angies List (first time user). I was skeptical but since we just moved to the area, I didn't know anyone to recommend a landscaper. We could not have been more pleased with the work or the professionalism. I will be using them again this spring.

Armando came to our home, addressed our needs, and presented an estimate within an hour. He was very reasonably priced compared to other estimates we had received. He was able to start the following week and told us he would finish within 2 days. He ended up finishing everything within a day! The estimate was free of cost. He scheduled it for one particular time and he did not show up at that time. I called back and he said that he was really swamped with things, and then he rescheduled it for later that evening. So he did come that evening. I thought the way he did the estimate was very professional. I liked the fact that he really took time to write down the estimate and it was very detailed. He also went over it with great detail with me. The estimate was very thorough. I will use his services again in the future.

We pulled his name again because he had done such a great job that we were waiting to re-landscape our backyard. We have a draught down here, which is why we decided to put things off until the fall. He did an amazing job last time. There are a lot of people who stop by to get their name from us after looking at their work. They made the whole front yard look different. From all the people that we have used in the past 23 years, we would probably rate them the top. The guy who came out was very professional. He was very kind. His workers never asked for anything. They never asked for restroom and any water. They did all this work in summer. His brother is the one that usually rides onsite the whole time. He makes sure that everything is done very professionally. At one time, we had a trouble matching the brick color, and he went quite a way to get the brick that would match for us.

They demolished a dead flower bed, pulled out a tree stump, carted off the old dirt. They rebuilt the bed with lining, border and fresh soil and planted flowers. They were fast and efficient. This is a condo and they even took the time to sweep off the side walk and parking area that was impacted by the job.

Armando responded quickly to my message requesting an estimate, came out promptly to give the estimate, and completed the work on the day promised. His estimate was half of what another local landscaping service estimated and the work was done efficiently using high quality materials and very professionally. I will use this service again and would readily recommend him. The estimate was for $1,067, but I was so impressed, I added a $50 tip.

It looks great. He and his men did a really good job. There was no guttering over one of the beds and we had a hard rain after they finished the job. Once we got guttering and the ground dried up, Armando's men came out and fixed the bed and only charged me for the additional stones.
