Description of Work: They took down a very old railroad tie retaining wall and installed a stone wall. My house is built on a slope and they earned their money! They also removed a large area of overgrown ivy and greenery and smoothed everything out. I will use them again when I am ready to landscape that area.

Description of Work: Trimmed shrubs and and some trees.

Description of Work: They completely cleaned up my large perennial garden and cut back the plants. Then they put down herbicide and more mulch.

Description of Work: trims all trees, cleaned all flower beds. Did great job, however, supervisor quoted one price for individual services and when services were modified, office did not want to modify price proportionately

Description of Work: Replaced large amount of topsoil. Installed sprinkler lines. Installed grass. Went extremely well.

Description of Work: A&M was one of four landscaping companies that we solicited bids from. The bid sheet was very specific about services and materials required. Their bid was the lowest--50% lower than the next and 200% lower than the highest--which told us they obviously missed something (or many things). When asked to review and resubmit, they did not.

Description of Work: I spoke with Mario (co-owner)when he was doing work for a neighbor. She raved about the service. He said his brother Armando would call to set up an appointment to design a new front lawn. After two weeks of waiting I called the company, a very nice man said he was sorry and immediately made an appointment for the next Monday at 4 pm, i can home early from work and waited..and waited. By 430 I decided to call the company.no answer. Finally at 445 I reached someone in the office and they got in touch with Armando and he said he called his staff and told them he could not make it until 530. I said if he had time to call his staff he had time to call me. I cancelled the appointment.

Description of Work: I received an estimate on 2/28/2012 for replacing some sod which I was quoted double the amount. I was also quoted on a concrete patio. The day of the estimate he was 2 hours late. Someone did call me one hour after the appt to tell me he would be late. On April 25 th I called to schedule a day for the concrete work. The next day Thursday, the receptionist call to get my address. On Friday the receptionist called again to get the estimate number. I called back at 4:30 and they were closed. I called on Saturday since the voice message stated they were open on Saturdays, I got the voice message. On Monday I called with the receipt number and the receptionist told me that Armando will call me back. I did not receive a call from Armando on Monday so I called his cell phone number or Tuesday. Today is Friday May 4 th and still no call. On Friday I called another company at least they pick up their phone

Description of Work: I contacted 2 landscapers, this one and another one. mr Alvarez never responded to my inquiry. I did hear back from the other landscaper and he is doing the job.
