2 weeks ago I took my oldest daughter in for a sick visit, she was behind on her shots but wouldn't give them to her because she was sick. The doctor who saw her said that I could bring her back in 2 weeks when my other daughter was scheduled for a well check. I went up there yesterday 10/07/2010 and they refused to see my older daughter I asked to speak to supervisor and the lady at the window said they were busy and couldn't speak to me. I then told her I was not leaving until I spoke to her supervisor, finally she got on the phone and got a supervisor to speak to me on the phone. I tried to explain what the deal was and how the doctor had told me to bring her back with my other daughter but the supervisor just kept interrupting me and being very rude. I was getting very irritated and I spoke very firmly to him and told him he needed shut up and listen to what I was saying before making up excuses and lying to me. About this time a security guard comes over and starts trying to talk me while I was on the phone with the supervisor I was holding my 1 year old daughter on my hip while trying to hold a clip board and sign the papers the lady had handed me. I told him to wait a second I was speaking to the supervisor at that time the security guard grabbed the clip board out of my hand causing me to nearly drop my daughter then he grabbed the wrist of my other hand and yanked the pen away from me like I was some kind of child. He told me I needed to come with him and I told him I was waiting for the supervisor to come down to speak with me. He then told me to follow him or he would call the police and have arrested for trespassing. About that time another security officer came up and asked what the problem was I started to explain when I was interrupted by the first security guard and he said "there is no problem now I took the weapon away from him" at this point I was p***** because he acted like I was some kind of violent criminal. I said WEAPON what the h*** are you talking about a weapon. He then told me I needed to come to the security office and I refused the security officer a short bald man with glasses around 50-60 y/o then grabbed 1 year old daughters (who I was holding in my arms) he grabbed her hand and tried to force me to follow him by taking a hold of her I told him to keep his hands off my daughter I knocked his hand away from her and he reached for her again. at this point I lost my temper and yelled at him and told him not to touch my daughter again. I then picked up my 2 year old and attempted to leave and he tried to stop me I pushed passed him while trying to hang on to my 2 daughters. I left and called APD to report him. APD came out and instead of talking to me they went in and talked to the guys inside then they came out and started in on me, the security officer told them I was in the building screaming and cussing which was a complete lie (only time I yelled was when the security officer touched my daughter) But the 2 APD officers called me a liar and one even had the gull to laugh in my face. The security guard lied to the police officer about what had happened and of course they believed him over me. I will be contacting a lawyer and will be filing suit against Texas Tech Medical center and the security officer involved. maybe next time he'll think twice before putting his hands on someones child. And if he doesn't he'll eventually find someone who will take it upon themselves to teach him a lesson.
