They had to order motor from Dallas and we got caught in the 4th July day off so it took a while to get shipped up. Once it arrived, it was installed quickly and seems to be working very well.

I will use them again when needed. I assume the C grade is average, they come out and check the systems.

There was a small problem with the plumbing so they fixed it. So far everything has been good while working with them. They clean thearea good.

Greg A. was professional and competent. He kept me informed and treated me like a customer instead of a 'mark.'

It was great. They have done a wonderful job. We've been using them for 10 years. They went above and beyond what they had to do normally this summer. I would absolutely use them in the future.

Technician was prompt and courteous. Had the drain unstopped within a few minutes. Saw evidence of tree roots. Sent a camera technician to inspect sewer line which was included in the price of the original call out. They suggested replacing a fitting on the sewer line just as it connects with the city. Decided not to have them dig it up due to the fact it is over 10 ft deep at that point. Cost was too much. Decided go a different route.

It went very poorly, he was a young man and he came out at 4 in the afternoon and obviously didn't want to perform any services. He charged me 55$ just for coming out. While he was there he wanted to replace the entire valve on my shower and was wanting me to pay 1,500$, when all I needed was just 1 valve stem replaced.

Did not get problem fixed, had to call back a couple of time. Finally had to call another company.

Air conditional not working.. Came out on a Saturday evening. Reset circuit breaker and air conditional came on. Technician said circuit breaker must be weak and scheduled electrician to replace circuit breaker on Tue. After electrician replaced circuit breaker, they testing amps drawn on starting of air conditional which seemed high. Call an air conditional repairman who came and replace the coil, said air compressor was probably going bad, and to call if problem circuit breaker kept tripping. Circuit breaker kept tripping. Called end and they ordered a new compressor. A week later the new compressor was installed and problem fixed. During this period, I would have to reset the circuit breaker and the air conditional would work for couple of cycles before I has to reset again.

Called on Monday to make appointment for Wednesday afternoon. Was told they would come between 1 and 6 on Wednesday. At 5:30 received a phone call saying it would be another 2 hours before they could come out. Told them to forget it and I would find someone more reliable. Took half day off from work in order to have AC repaired. Will not call this company for any time of repairs in the future.

Very good, show up at appointment time, did the job, cleaned up and left.

Had to have the plumber come out to fix a couple of running toilets and a kitchen sink, which cost $375. Now we live in a newer house so the plumbing and toilets are less then 6 years old, so this is nothing to complex of out dated. After the initial repair one of the toilets is now much louder as the water turns off(sounds like a hammer) and on every five minutes(loud enough to wake us up at night), which is much worse than the original problem of gentle toilet running endlessly. When I told the plumber over the phone of this new louder problem, he blamed it on some high powered flapper he installed. Which I told him he actually repaired 2 toilets on the initial trip and only one of the toilets was having this problem, which eliminates the excuse of a high power flapper. On the second trip out to fix this new problem, he was told to collect the new service fee, I told him no way, since he was back due to a larger problem that didn't exists until he made the initial repair.. Much worse was the plumber, said he did all he could do(which was nothing much) and we would either need install some new $389 valve part or a completely new toilet for $450 to fix the problem that didn't exist until they came out out to service. Horrible service will NEVER use ScottCo again, they created a new problem and then wanted $400+ bucks to fix what the messed up. The worst part is the folks at ScottCo are not really that concerned about getting this fixed. When I called to schedule the 2nd service trip to attempt to get the job right, they didn't care to make it right, they were more concerned about collecting a second service visit fee(to attempt to correct their mistake, which they did NOT accomplish). I have heard nothing at all from them which is a shame, even after the second visit. Now I am stuck with a larger problem then before they step a foot in my home. TERRIBLE

My experience went very well. The staff is very professional and highly knowledgeable in their field. The pricing is reasonable and I would recommend this company to others.

This seemingly simple problem began on October 17th. After calling two different companies to find someone to replace our hot water heater, scottco calls back to say they can come but they will call before they come. My husband had made the calls and left his number with them. So we sat and waited. You guessed it they called wrong number and crew went on to next appointment. Thursday - The Installation happened on thursday, still no hot water. Friday (noon)- Rich the head of plumbing and helper comes back on Friday to recheck installation to verify its ok? Maybe corrosion has caused a 'block in the plumbing loop'. They demonstrated by turning on bathtub then wait long enough the kitchen starts to get lukewarm? They leave us in that condition over the weekend. Maybe they could get to investigate again (3rd time now) on Monday - we set up yet another appt. the original installer came out 600 more dollars, we actually have hot water at every faucet. Oct.21st complete?

I wasn't happy with their service. There was a sudden change with our water heater. It coincidentally went out the same day we had somebody come out to evaluate our roof. It could have been a coincidence or there could have been some debris stirred up in the roof that fell down the vent that caused the pilot light to go out. The pilot light went out that very day. They should have examined it further than what they did except just trying to light it. We had further problems after that. We light and relit it then it went out again. One time, the water was sold so I went in there and looked and the pilot light was out and I heard this noise coming from the water heater. We told them that we made several attempts to light it but it kept going out on us. They just decided that everything was working okay. I had this coupon I got from Angie's List and it would have saved me $20 and I was gonna use that. I presented it at the time and they told me to save that and use it if they have to come back and replace the water heater. Well, I didn't want them to come back after that experience. They seemed knowledgeable but they didn't do anything. They sent 2 people and I don't think one of them was knowledgeable at all. I was kind of uneasy about him being in there finishing it up and putting it back up together because I don't think he knew what he was doing.

Scottco Heating, Air, Plumbing and Electrical were professional, on time and they checked with me throughout the process. It was overall a positive experience.

When I contacted the company for a quote, I specifically asked about mini split systems. The rep said that they were very expensive and he would recommend just replacing our existing heating and ac unit. The person that I spoke to, came to our house on a Saturday morning to discuss our needs and our options. After spending two hours looking at our existing system and where we were wanting to extend the system, he recommended the mini split system after all. He was very knowledgable and saw right away that our existing breaker box would not support the electrical needs of the new system. He was very honest about the electrical work that needed to be done. A few days later we received the quote which was less than I was hoping it would be. I accepted the quote and scheduled the work. When the crews arrived to perform the work, they had all of the supplies they needed and had already obtained the required permits from the city. The two crews worked for two days in temperatures that were below freezing. They were very professional, friendly and courteous. The work was finished ahead of schedule. We are extremely happy with our new units.

They did a great job. They have been here a several of times and have done a great job for us. They do not try to sell us anything that we do not need. They are very professional.

The man they sent out said they could not reach a certain area to plumb correctly but they could have gone in through a different way. My toilet is off centered as a result. I complained about it and he said it was supposed to be that way. They even left the used parts in the house. I would not use them again.

I called Rich at SCOTTCO and he sent a plumber out the next day. Mike was very professional and cleared the drain within 20 minutes. His positive attitude reassured me upon his arrival. He was neat and cleaned what little mess was made and the bill...nice surprise. All for $70.00. SCOTTCO Thank you Rich and Mike and the SCOTTCO team for everything, and I will definitely use your services in the future. I have been in touch with Rich again, to change my shower drain and shower head to an adjacent wall. I wouldn't think of using anyone else. Your professionalism and excellence really shine. They charged us to clean out the vent and never did it. Instead made excuses as to why it couldn't be done.

I placed a phone call to Scottco detailing the problem with one of the A/C units at my home. The person taking the call was told there was a leak in the line in the attic and both units would probably need to be charged. An appointment was made and the repairman presented on time. He spent around an hour locating the leak and then reported that Scottco does not make repairs to lines because they (Scottco) had burned a house down and will not repair leaks in the attic any longer. The repairman did offer to replace the copper line by running it on the outside of the house into the attic for a cost of $1300.00. When I balked at this suggestion I was told they could cut a hole in my roof, repair the leak and then I could have a roofer come out and repair the hole. I question the company's professional ethics in spending time locating a leak if they don't repair leaks. This information would have been really handy upfront rather than after an expensive search. The other unit was charged and the repairman left.
