+ -1 moreTo put it bluntly, I can do as fast as them, and as terribly as them, and I have never built a cabinet before. Screws mounting slides penetrate inside walls of drawers, white washing contaminated, drawers don't close because there is so much friction that most have to be forced closed. After the floor cabinet was set, my contractor was unable reach the the cabinet maker, ignoring his calls. Eventually he had to retrieve the vanity to press forward with other details to do a dry fit. None of the vanity was to spec. All in all, they were fired due to abandonment, and no communication. Reeds is no longer an ethical business in my opinion.

+ -1 moreTerrible! Very stressful to give a business $3,500 & not be able to reach anyone
Description of Work: Chris reed bid a job to redo master bath cabinets . Took 1/2 deposit promised cabinets In 1 week. This was a small $2,500 job. I was very pleased & would give an A overall Son this experience This was Jan 2015 2 weeks later Chris bid all new kitchen cabinets $7,000 & gave me Instsllation date of Feb 17, 2015 On the 10th he informed me the painter was behind & gave me a new date of 2/24/2015 After cashing my $3,500 check , taking my $750 apron sink that I purchase, His cell phone has been off for 2 days, the so called "shop" phone , you leave messages & never get a call back or response of any kind. Chris told me that his wife picks up the messages, do he must be getting them! Even the company that does his countertops called me & said they couldn't reach him! I'm praying that my kitchen will be complete & I hadn't been scammed

+ -1 moreUltimately this turned out to be a good thing as my husband was injured and may not be able to work. Now our project has been put on hold due to little fault of Reed's Cabinets. I know this is a little project for them but I never got the feeling that it was unimportant to them. Their prices were very competitive and I know how great their quality is.
Description of Work: Chris Reed, owner and his shop Forman came to our home and gave us an estimate on building our cabinet. Turns out that Reed's Cabinets built our existing cabinets when we built our custom home in 1990. We have been very happy with the quality of our existing cabinets. I had several questions about the new project that were answered promptly. We were to put down a 50% deposit on the new cabinet. Twice we went to the shop to leave the deposit but both times the people we needed to talk to were either not familiar with what we needed to do or he wasn't there. I was disappointed that no one attempted to contact us.

+ -1 moreWe are the extremely proud owners of some very gorgeous cabinets. He came to our home, took measurements, listened to requests, made excellent suggestions, and showed us some of his work. He was quite difficult to contact in the middle of the project, but delivered such a quality product that any problems were quickly forgotten.
Description of Work: They built and installed new kitchen cabinets.

Description of Work: An appointment was made to meet at my house on 8/19/11 at 1430hrs. The shop called about 30 min. before the appt. to say they had forgotten about it and apologized but would be there as soon as possible. i gave them my cell number in case they had difficulty finding the house. No show, No phone call on that day or since then.
