+ 0 moreThe countertop installation went as planned, but the tile backsplash did not! First they said they would be there this past Friday, no one ever showed up. I called to find out why and was told they would be there on Saturday all day. He showed up at 11:30, worked 1 1/2 hours then left for 45 minutes for lunch and came back for 1 hour and left. He then showed up Sunday morning at 10:15 and worked until 2:15, but the job was finished. He grout job was very messy and they rubbed paint off my newly painted cabinets! Wow what an experience.
Description of Work: Installed a granite countertop and a tile backsplash.

+ 1 moreMGT was wonderful to work with - they scheduled everything and walked us through the process (we did not have a contractor - we did all other work except granite and cabinets ourselves). We chose the granite and they helped with the grout and backsplash tiles. Even when the first piece of granite crumbled as they were cutting at the shop, they were able to use two more and make our countertops (I was upset, but all was ok). The granite is top notch and beautifully installed. The edges are perfect, the seams are almost impossible to see and there are only 2 and we couldn't be happier! They have a great selection of granite (and more).
Description of Work: We had granite countertops installed - we chose the granite and they scheduled the template day (man came and laid it out on the countertops). Then they cut (first slab of granite crumbled - they called and I was sick, but it worked out because they had two more slabs. The only thing I wish would be different is that they told me that at first, because I was so upset and thought we were going to have to choose another granite. It was all ok, though). They came on the scheduled day and installed and came back to do the tile backsplash the next couple of days and seal it later in the week.
