Lone Star Gold and Silver Buyers

Description of Work: I had a 14k gold chain that weighed 5 grams. It had two repairs and would no longer be suitable to wear with a pendant. I went to a pawn shop where they gave me a accurate weight and they then offered me $75 dollars. I called two other gold dealers who both offered me $75. I know it would cost me about $225 to replace this chain with a new sturdy one. I just thought it had to be worth more. I then called Gil Horton at Lone Star Gold and Silver Buyers 4901 B Hillside, Amarillo 79109. 806-670-5499. Gil was very straight forward. He said if the weight was correct he would give me $90 cash. I went by the shop which is off the main track but easy to find. Gil was great! He showed me on the Internet what the market was at. He then weighed my chain and found it to be shy of 5 grams. Gil went ahead and rounded up to 5 grams. He multiplied it out in front of me. He then told me he pays 80% or better of spot metal prices. I was very impressed with the way Mr. Gil Horton conducted business.
