The workers they sent out were supposed to add automatic sprinkler valves to replace manual ones. They drilled a hole in my soffit that needed to be patched because they drilled it in the wrong spot for the conduit. They patched it, not a big deal. That happens. But the men they sent over didn?t have enough experience to know that they should?ve seen that first. They insisted on running the controller wire for one valve through the middle of the yard instead of next to landscape/house features. In some places, this was to avoid a buried sewer pipe and underpour next to the house, but it caused a problem when I needed to till the yard to replant grass. In other places, it was just because it was ?easier? to run wire in the middle of the yard and through the gate. It was a hand dig, so they could?ve gone around the pipe another way; like I requested. They came out to ?redo? burying that wire for free, which was cool, but contrary to my instructions, ran it in exactly the same spot for a portion of the run. In the process, they stomped down my wife?s flower bed, and they didn?t rake it out flat again. They eventually sent the workers back over to rake it out and didn?t charge me. The flowers were just stomped over. Just didn?t look professional. The valves are buried, with no markers or access on the surface, which is pretty normal, but will make it a pain finding them in the future if maintenance needs to be done. An access can would?ve been a nice touch. Where there was a box, they jammed the valve in so tight that about 9 months later the PVC elbow broke right through the elbow because of the force on it. Fortunately, I happened to see it happen so I was able to stop the flood down my sidewalk quickly. I have replaced two poorly glued joints where they used flex PVC and they have broken loose. Until this last time with the broken valve, they were pretty responsive for warranty work. They sent a guy over a few hours later to take care of the broken valve by capping it, but it?s been a week, and they haven?t called to let me know when they?ll send someone over. It?s about a 30-minute job (if that) to finish it up, so I may just do it myself. Probably could?ve been done when they were here before. On the plus side, they are very reasonable for prices. They have never charged me for warranty work, and their prices are fair. They are always courteous and professional. So maybe if you?re okay with lots of warranty work, and broken flex PVC and you never want to do any other landscaping in your yard by yourself.
