I was in need of a pre-purchase home inspection and had very little time to get it done. My realtor called Louie and he agreed to do it the following Sunday afternoon. The next afternoon I had a comprehensive 28 page written report in my inbox. Louie is retired from a utility company and he went through the house and its systems at the speed of cold molasses. He checked things that NOBODY looks at,.... i.e.: unusual molding in a washroom, trying to figure out why it would be used. He also checked everything that I was concerned about and gave me all sorts of helpful information that would benefit me if I bought the house. He also pointed out "violations" that posed threats and those that posed no threat of harm or loss. Louie clearly knows how houses are suppose to be put together and he knows the codes that are suppose to be followed. And, more importantly, to me, he put things in terms that were understandable and meaningful to someone that is not in the building trades sector. I did not buy the house based largely on what Louie found and told me about its current condition and I feel certain that I will not regret my decision. Louie is a pro and I will not hesitate to call him the next time I find a house that I want to buy.
