Description of Work: Mr. Davis performed excellent service on both the refrigerator and the freezer. Even though the water line for the refrigerator was not repairable (design flaw-the water dispenser line is buried in the foam insulation), he provided a work-around that allowed the ice maker to continue working, and provided work on both units at a very reasonable price.

Description of Work: It's almost as if A.L.'s left server doesn't know what it's right server is doing. I am not impressed at all by these redundant calls for validation and positive strokes, when the experiences I have had, and reported, were unworthy of a favorable review. Why is A.L.'s communication system so inefficient? | |I not only alerted A.L. to a problem with it's service referrals in the Amarillo market, more than 6 weeks ago, but now I am being asked to review the same providers that were unable & incapable of performing the requested assistance. Please check the contact logs between us, and refer to my previous commentary about the Amarillo market and the rampant inaccuracies relative to the requested service providers' contact information & skill-sets. August's endeavor to acquire A.L. & fix a few things before moving has been a big disappointment, and I fear a bigger waste of money.

+ -1 moreMr. Davis is a very professional and polite man. He showed up to my residence on time and diagnosed the problem. The blower belt and pulley had slipped off. He put the pulley on tight and realigned the belt so it fit perfectly. It only took him about 40 mins to do all the work. He also cleaned up the area around him. I would rehire and recommend him to everyone.

+ -1 moreMy dishwasher wasn't draining. Water was just sitting in the bottom. I called this morning, got a call back after lunch, and he worked me in at 3:00. On Memorial Day! He found the clog, unclogged it and ran some hot water through my dishwasher to freshen it up. He also recommended a product to add to my dishwasher soap to keep it unclogged. Great experience!

+ -1 moreHe promptly called when I was told he would. He arrived right on time. He is very polite. He was told what the problem was before he arrived at my home. He explained why I was asked certain questions when I called his office. My refrigerator was making a clicking noise and I was told to unplug it. That was putting too much pressure on the compressor. He looked at the compressor/relay switch and said it needed to be replaced. He said he would try that first before anything else. The refrigerator started making its normal sounds and water was running which then started making ice! The ice maker had not worked for months and he fixed that without charging me extra. Mr. Davis was very professional. His prices were reasonable. He came out to my home on the day that I called his office. In fact, he arrived within 4 hours of my phone call which allowed me to run errands and meet him at my home later in the day. I definitely would use this company again as I was very pleased with his work. He even gave me extra hints to run my refrigerator more efficiently.

+ -1 moreMr. Davis was a very personable and professional individual. He did all he could to save us money without compromising the quality of the repairs. He even made a quick trip to his shop to get a part so that he could save us money on that. My wife and I were extremely pleased and will definitely call him when we have future appliance problems.
Description of Work: Mr. Davis came to repair a faulty light in our refrigerator, and to check out our washing machine which wouldn't spin out. He checked the washing machine for 30 minutes and finally suggested we raise the drain hose higher. He charged nothing for that time, and the washing machine has worked fine since. He diagnosed the light issue to be a computer problem and replaced the module for that, correcting the problem. While he was there we asked him to check out the ice maker on the refrigerator, which hadn't worked in years. He took a computer module off a new ice maker so that we wouldn't have to pay the full amount, and the ice maker now works like new.
