it was very important to me that the floral basket arrive that day. I made special arrangements and even left instructions where to deliver the flowers if the party was not home. I spoke with the family several times during the day and they never mentioned anything about receiving the arrangement. I made numerous attempts to contact the florist throughout the day and the phone just rang without answer or an answering machine. The next morning I called the number again as soon as the shop was to open. It rang for about 15 minutes. When I tried the number again, it was busy for another 30 minutes. At that point, I was going to drive over to the florist myself. I tried calling one more time and the owner of the shop answered the phone. I told him who I was and what I was calling about. He quickly told me that his mother had had surgery and he did not go into the shop until that afternoon. At that point it was too late to make my delivery. There was absolutely no apology from this man. He stated that he could deliver it that day or cancel my order. I once again told him that I was upset and had felt I needed to at least have been told of the problem. He stated that he could not have delivered it because his mother was having surgery and never once apologized, in fact he got quite rude. He said that he was canceling my order and hung up the phone on me. I called him back to let him know that I would be coming down to get my money back, he said he had never run my credit card and was through discussing this with me and hung up the phone on me once again.
Description of Work: I ordered a floral basket online for delivery. I used the florist' own website to place the order. It was to be delivered that day. I placed it around 10 o'clock that morning to ensure same day delivery. The florist stated that the orders had to be placed by 1 p.m. for same day delivery.
