Amarillo Kitchen & Bath

Description of Work: Bid in master bath remodel. I called to hire them to come do remodel and bid on my second bathroom to remodel and he never got back with me.

Description of Work: I can't recommend Amarillo Kitchen & Bath highly enough! We had our master bath completely redone including a new shower, tub, cabinets, tile, countertops, walls textured & painted - basically everything. I knew the first time Jim came to the house that his energy & ideas fit what I had in mind for our bathroom remodel. He had great ideas I hadn't even thought of, and worked with me on lowering some cost issues. Jim let me meet directly with the people who custom-made our cabinets; Bobby, the man who ordered the tile; and Chad, who poured the marble for the shower, bath & countertops. All were easy to work with and Chad even custom-mixed some samples I wanted which turned out to be what I used. Jim was at our house everyday by 8:30 with his 2 workers and they were gone everyday by the time I got home from work. They left everything as clean as possible when they left each day and put down tarps from the front door all the way to the bathroom everyday so they didn't mess up the floors. We had a cracked window from the hailstorm a year ago that we were unaware of. Jim had me take pictures of the window and some mold caused by it to submit to our insurance company & even pointed out some external hail damage we hadn't noticed & had me take pictures of that as well. I appreciated his attention to detail. The time frame quoted was met except for a mirror that was the wrong size when it came in & had to be reordered. It came in and was installed within a week. The work was still done faster than the other quotes I received. My husband & I couldn't be happier with the new bathroom & I wouldn't change a thing about the whole experience. I will always use Amarillo Kitchen & Bath for any future work in our home! |Lana Little

Description of Work: Amarillo Kitchen & Bath gave me an estimate to replace some tile in my kitchen.

Description of Work: The contractor and his crew gutted the whole kitchen, dining area, and laundry room. They closed up a doorway to the entry which we did not use allowing us to have more cabinets and counter top. They ran a new gas line for a gas range and installed several electrical outlets. We had very little storage in the kitchen so we wanted cabinets that went all the way to the ceiling to store things we don't use very often. We wanted large drawers on the bottom cabinets so we could reach to the very back easily without getting on our hands and knees. He ordered custom cabinets locally and they were ready and installed in just a few days along with the beautiful granite counter tops. The walls and ceilings were textured and painted and the new floor tile and tumbled travertine back splash were installed. They installed 10 can lights in the kitchen and dining room and decorative lights in both areas. For a little extra money they installed a light over our game table in the living room. They installed all the new stainless appliances and garbage disposal.
