 + -1 moreSet up appointment for 8 am to have job assessed, showed up at 945, stated they were busy, the tech sent to house was to run camera down line to look for leak, stated he had never used equipment before, took two hours and had someone else drop by to show how to turn on equipment then other person left, tech then tried to use equipment could not figure it out, pulled toilet off broke mount ring, after 2-1/2 hrs just staring at equipment advised tech to leave and send somebody who knew what they were doing, rescheduled appt for next week at 8 am, at 10 am never heard back called stated they were busy in meeting. advised i would use someone else. Also tech turned water line valve off behind toilet, started leaking left house come home to water covered floor, good thing i had rugs in bath absorbed water before doing more damage. Would not use very poor service.

 + -1 moreService guy called and explained what was probably wrong, then set an appointment based upon my schedule. He called prior to the appointment as he said he would. Showed up at the appointed time. The work was done as described above.
Description of Work: Service Man diagnosed the problem quickly and then telephoned to find availability of part. Was back latter that same morning and fixed quickly. I was charged the minimum labor rate and for the part.

Description of Work: When I called to see if they could service my freezer, the lady on the phone sounded totally unknowledgeable about the price and she seemed uninterested in having business, like I was bothering her. I told her forget it I would call someone else and she didnt care she said "Alright" so I wont recommend them.

 + -1 moreMy oven broke. I called Allen's Tri-State and they sent to very nice gentlemen out to look at it. They determined that the thermostat was out so they got my oven to work for me and ordered the part. They came back a week later and put the thermostat on for me. I was very happy with their professionalism and quality of work.
Description of Work: Thermostat replaced in my double oven.

 + 0 moreGREAT service and he took the time to explain all of the various steps that he was taking. He did a thorough job and we are totally satisfied. Not very often these days that you get this kind of service.
Description of Work: Had a problem with our drinking glasses coming clean with our Asco Dishwasher. Carl came out promptly, spent time diagnosing the machines various functions and determined that the dishwasher was doing exactly what it was suppose to do. He then did a common sense test of our water hardness, using distilled vinegar, and determined that because of our water hardness we needed to change the amount of dishwasing soap that we used and that periodically we needed to add a cup of vinegar to a load in order to counteract the affects of the hardness in our water.

Description of Work: I used Allen's Tri-State Mechanical to fix my dishwasher in March. My dishwasher is not a common brand. They told me what to do with the scales so that dishwasher runs well. He gave me the cleaner he used and also told me where to get it if I wanted it in future.
