Description of Work: They checked on a leak from the A/C unit and replaced the vent hood on top of the roof that was allowing water into the attic. They also replaced filters and inspected heating & air units to start on maintenance contract.

+ -1 moreCalled late on a Thursday afternoon to schedule an appointment. Scheduler made an appointment for the next day and said as of right now it looks like it will be about 3:00 p.m. when they arrive, but that is only an estimate. Well, when I looked at my phone around 12:00 p.m. I see that they called at 8:45 a.m. to say they were on their way over! I called them back and they said the time was only an "estimate", I said sure it was, but 6 hours earlier???? I guess I was supposed to make myself available the entire day just in case they wanted to come over. Tried to reschedule but they couldn't get me in for a week. Called someone else.
Description of Work: Scheduled appointment to troubleshoot sewer gas smell.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job and cleaned up their mess. They did good work and were here when they said they would be. I am a basket case and was not used to having floors out of my house but they handled it nicely.
Description of Work: I used A & R Mechanical Service to repair a major plumbing leak at my house. This required taking out my floor to repair the pipes and taking a wall out to get to it.

+ -1 moreI couldn't get my central heating system to turn on. I called A and R on a Saturday morning and they sent a repairman to my house about 30 minutes after I called. He was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem, and I was only charged the amount for the service call (no charge for labor). He was friendly, professional, and explained to me what he had done and why, and what to do if I experienced the same problem again. I definitely recommend A and R Mechanical.
Description of Work: Service call and minor repair inside the breaker box for my central heating system.
