+ -1 moreDO NOT GIVE THIS CONTRACTOR MONEY! I paid Joe Carrasco $26,000 via check in December to add a bedroom and bathroom to my home. He started the construction and disappeared with the rest of the money. He never paid the sub-contractors who had started work. I have spent thousands repairing the damages. WORST mistake ever! Don't let this guy scam you!!

+ -1 moreJoe's cost estimates and scheduling were exactly as he told me. His crews worked efficiently and diligently to complete the work. I split the work up into two sessions. The formal dining room first (2 days) and the rest a week later(3 days) The results were exactly what we were looking for.
Description of Work: Removed wallpaper, retextured and painted kitchen, dining room, formal dining room, bathroom, hallway and entry walls plus trim.

+ -1 moreIt was good work overall. The pool room paint was interior paint with no mildew retardant and a couple weeks after the work was done, we noticed the mildew. I have called him to have him come back out and he did call and say he would come out but he never has and it's been about a month.

+ 0 moreOf the three companies we contacted for estimates, Joe came across as the most knowledgeable and professional. I made an appointment for him to come and provide an estimate and he arrived early. His explanation of the estimate and his proposal for the job was the most comprehensive and while his estimate was also the highest, we felt confident he would complete the job as discussed. He and his crew started the work promptly and finished within a very reasonable amount of time.
Description of Work: Joe's Painting power washed the exterior of our home, patched some small holes and painted the exterior. This included additives to prevent mildew and a good quality paint. Overall, we were very pleased with the exterior painting.

+ -1 moreJoe returned my call and came by to give an estimate for painting two rooms in my house. His prices were very reasonable and he explained the difference in certain paints, why they peel and chip. He also talked me into a better color which I am thankful for that. The painting job was scheduled as soon as we agreed on a day, and Joe and his painter were right on time. They both did an excellent job and was recommended to me, and I would recommend them also. They cleaned up very well and left the house in spic and span condition.
Description of Work: Joe and his worker painted my study and kitchen and one wall in the living room that had bad spots on it. They taped the baseboards and the trim around the ceilings and laid drop cloths on the floor and covered the furniture to protect everything from drips of paint. They moved the furniture in each room as they painted, and moved the furniture back in place after they finished. They removed all the drop cloths, coverings and tape and cleaned up all the mess.

His prices were quite good, and he showed me different colors and brands of paint and explained why paint peels, chips, and fades. He scheduled my house exterior first, and he showed up on time. He unloaded the paint, ladders, and other tools from his truck and covered the windows. He cleaned up any mess, and the house looks wonderful.
Description of Work: Joe's Painting painted the exterior of my house and the interior of my guest house.
