The trailer they showed up with looked like it was about to fall apart, and the blankets to protect the items were ragged. Apparently they are just getting started and on a shoestring. Although they worked very hard and fast, they damaged a couple of things because it was piled too high and fell off or just not packed into the trailer properly. However, other than that, they did get the job done and at a price lower than any other I could find.

Charles and his assistant worked efficiently and everything arrived at the destination without damage. They used our belongings like pieces to a big puzzle, putting them in their trailer and then shifting them around as needed to get the trailer packed completely without any empty spaces and attempting to get the move done in one trip. We had too much stuff and it did end up requiring a second trip, but with the close distance between point A and point B they were still able to complete the move within the 2 hour time frame that I had paid for (they don't lollygag around so as to stretch out the time and get extra pay for going over). They were careful of fragile pieces, wrapping them in shrink wrap or blankets. I had called other movers and they were all to start the clock on the move when they left their shop. Charles started the clock on my 2 hours when he arrived at my storage unit. My son is moving into a new home at the end of the month and I am calling Cheap Best Movers again to set up his move.

They were a little late due to a problem with the truck, but they called me and let me know so I wasn't upset about that. They were extremely careful with my possessions. I had forgotten to bubble wrap some glass shelves and thought I would have to come back and get them but they carefully wrapped them for me and saved me a trip back to the old house to get them. They were extremely efficient and packed the moving trailer in a surprisingly short time. I would recommend them to anyone.

They called me on Sunday to let me know that they didn't service my area. They service the South part of Houston. It was going to be 160 miles out of his way. I contacted Angie's List for a refund.

They (the 2 guys we had arranged) turned up on time (you could have set your watch by them) they were very nice to talk to, the lady of the house then walked them through what was to be moved. They then worked out the most efficient way to pack the trailer and immediately set about the job. We had other packers the previous day and the difference was like night and day, these guys were amazing, they just knuckled down and got the job done. They did in 2 1/2 hours what it took 3 guys 5 hours to do the previous day. This was particularly important because it was short notice and the trailer was being picked up the same day. They were particularly careful with the furniture and items to be moved (unlike the previous crew who had damaged items the preious day) they packed the trailer so tightly to reduce the cost (the trailer was paid for by the amount of trailer that was used). I cannot praise these guys too highly, professional, polite and extremely helpful going above and beyond when requested by the lady of the house to do additional work (for example take down the basketball hoop). My recommendation is, if you want a professional no nonsense move then don't go any further than these guys.

They arrived on time. Boss/owner plus two crew. One crewman had zero experience. Other one was young but had made several moves. All three were very enthusiastic and did their best to do a good job and comply with any special requests that we had. Nothing was broken in the move. Feet on some wooden furniture was chipped on the bottom from being slid on a bad surface but nothing really noticeable after the furniture was set in place on carpet. Couple of door jams were scratched in new home and one was gouged (repaired with a little sandpaper and some paint). Hanging boxes for clothes were used and worn but worked fine. The most important thing for us is that we got more than we paid for. The effort displayed and the desire to please us was tantamount. The cost was well below other bids and yet, within their skill set, they did their best.. We had no complaints and would use them again (if we ever lose our minds and move again....but that's another topic). billk

Their service was wonderful. They provided us the moving services at an extremely well cost. They really worked well with us. They were quick and exceptional. They were very good about not damaging or dropping anything. They just took extreme care and precaution which was important to me. I would definitely recommend them. I was looking for a mover because I don't like anything damaged. They were very efficient and hardworking. They never stopped and I requested them to take a lunch break. They just wanted to make sure that I was pleased and I got what I was paying for. They were very good and incredibly cheap. The price would have been easily twice the amount we paid of all the quotes I was looking at.
