appliance repair
+ -1 moreAppointment made on Monday. Repairman was to arrive between 9:00 and 12:00 on Tuesday; arrived at 2:00 PM. Said that previous job had taken longer than expected. Was at our house less than one hour. Examined washing machine, said he needed to order parts and would be back Thursday morning. We asked that he come in the afternoon. He arrived at 5:45 PM. Repaired washing machine, gave 90-day warranty. The dishwasher was inoperative after he fastened it to the counter top because we were unable to close the door. Took the screws out ourselves. We were not charged for this item. Repairman is also the owner of what appears to be a one-man shop. Labor cost is lower than average, but be prepared to wait.
Description of Work: Replaced cracked tub in Maytag washing machine. Mounted dishwasher to countertop.
