+ 0 moreSteam King did a very good job in tacking and installation of the carpet for the stairs. Very reasonably priced, knowledgeable and fun to work with.
Description of Work: We called Tom to tack some carpet down after having wood floors installed. He did a great job and gave us a quote on re-carpeting our stairs. He came in way under what another carpet installer would have charged and took the time to find the carpet we wanted at a lower price.

+ -1 morePERSONALLY I THOUGHT HIS PRICE WAS A LITTLE HIGH, BUT HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF PULLING THE CARPETS STRAIGHT. WE HAVE NO WRINKLES IN THE CARPET AFTER HE FINISHED.
Description of Work: A HEATH, TX REALTOR RECOMMENDED THAT I CALL STEAM KING TO STRETCH MY CARPETS IN MY NEW HOUSE. THE COMPANY THAT I HIRED TO CLEAN THE CARPETS DID NOT HAVE A PERSON AVAILABLE TO STRETCH THE CARPETS. TOM BLAKE STRETCHED SEVERAL ROOMS OF CARPET. THE UPSTAIRS HAD SEVERAL ROOMS WHERE THE CARPET WAS ESPECIALLY WRINKLED BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF THE HOUSE HAD LEFT THE ELECTRICITY OFF FOR SEVERAL WEEKS, CAUSING EXCESS HEAT TO BUILD UP.
