The response to a request for quote from JWS Welding and Construction was "we cannot currently serve the Garland area. Please keep us in mind for the future!" 1. If you can't or don't service my area, why would I consider you for future projects? 2. You need to tell Angie's List what areas you *do* serve, so you stop wasting people's time.

+ 0 moreWe first used Justin 5-6 years ago. I was just a little skeptical at first because he seemed like just a kid at the time. His prices were much better than all the other quotes so we went with him and goodness we were so glad we did. Since then, he's the first contractor we call for a quote. My husband was a contractor by trade for 40 years and very picky so the fact he liked JWS's quality of work speakers volumns.
Description of Work: We have used JWS for years. We have had hay barns, machinery barns, car ports, pavilions and fencing built.

+ -1 moreAs stated, the company's owner came out several times and even dealt with my Homeowners requirements to build the fence. He complied with all the requirements and the permit was issued. Problems arose when trying to find the property boundary stakes but eventually I was able to get that issue resolved by using an outside source to have my property resurveyed. It was at that point I decided to cancel the project. My decision had nothing to do with the company.
Description of Work: I planned on building a metal fence my in back yard. Due to circumstances beyond his or my control the job was cancelled. He did provide me with everything I needed up to that point including several trips out to my location. I would never hesitate to use the company or the owners services in the future. He was honest, fair and professional.

+ 1 moreJustin was on time, neat in his work environment, and I would highly recommend him. He was reasonable in his prices, and he also was available when I called him. The two overhangs both look great.
Description of Work: I had an overhang put up on my 30' by 40' shop. He did such a great job that we hired him again for the other overhang on the other side.
