The day I awarded the bid to Eric, he came over to collect $300 deposit and started on my house.. He did part of the house and disappeared for 2 days.. I called him and he came back and finished the roof line.. He did not hook up the lights with timers or cords as he promised. He then put me off , promising he would complete it by Thanksgiving.. After delays and excuses, and many text messages back and forth, he called me Thanksgiving day and left me a 3+ minute voice mail promising he would complete the job THAT day. He texted me later that day saying he would not get to it and I could just keep his old used lights! I didn't want his used lights and didn't want to have to hire someone else to take them down. Also he did not wrap the trees as he promised. He did drop off 25 sets of mini lights. But I didn't not agree to purchase lights from him without him wrapping my trees. I was upset most of Thanksgiving over this and the next day. My family kept asking what was wrong. I feel like a sucker in trusting this guy. I am not saying he ruined my thanksgiving but he did put a dark cloud over it. I think he is trying to figure out how to scam people to purchase his old used lights he has from years past and asks for money up front. He does enough work and leads people onto allowing him to cash the check and it to clear. This GUY is very unprofessional and a scammer and not a man of his word, something he repeats over and over in his voice mail to me and on the phone.. He said "I'm a man of my word-- dont worry"..
