Mr Duct Cleaner

It was very easy to get a hold of this company, answering their phone the first time we called. The gentleman on the phone was very polite and cheerful. We were able to get the exact date we had requested. A couple of days before our appointment, we received a call that they could come even sooner, due to a cancellation. The day of the service we got a call letting us know that the crew was on their way, asking if it was ok if they were a bit earlier than agreed (which was to our benefit, as we were in a time crunch). The crew arrived as promised, all very polite and professional. EVERYone spoke fluent English, so communication was not a problem. The crew worked quickly and thoroughly, showing us "before" and "after" shots of our duct work. It looked like the house (15 yrs old) had never had a duct cleaning before, so they had a good bit of work. The entire process took about 2.5 hours. It was a pleasure to work with this team, we would highly recommend them!

The service team was extremely professional and arrived on time. They explained what they were going to do and how much time that it would take. They were very professional and used drop clothes and plastic as they cleaned each vent to protect the carpet and furniture. They completed a walk through with me to make sure that I was satisfied that everything had been cleaned properly. I am very please with the service that they provided and will definitely use them in the future.

Arrived on time, professional. They went vent to vent and sucked the interior and did some vent work in the attic.

The technician was initially rude to another service provider at my home, and abrupt with me. He did turn out to be a nice, friendly young man. I believe he was put off by me having another provider at my home doing an AC tune up at the same time. They did not intend to sanitize until the other provider asked if they were going to provide that service. They pushed out debris from the ducts, and it was left on my furniture and flooring. They didn't cover the floors where they worked. Some of the grill covers that went back on have what appears to be insulation or dust balls clinging to the inside of the grills.

They did a great job. They were in touch with me almost immediately after I purchased the service, then came out two days later to perform the duct cleaning. Once they arrived, I asked them to look at the AC unit to see if it needed to be cleaned, which it did. They also sealed all of the connections in our ducting to make sure we were getting clean air flow. They were in and out very quickly and left hardly any mess.

They removed the vents and vacuum out the ducts. We recently remodeled and there was a lot dust left in our ductwork. They were completely professional in how they handled the job.

I purchased a $149 deal to have my home air ducts cleaned. Rep from company sent me an e-mail with suggested dates of service and when I replied we were able to quickly set up a date for work to be done. Workers showed up on time and got right to work. They took extra care not to make a mess in areas they were working. They were extremely courteous and professional. We would definitely consider them for any other air duct cleaning or service in the future.

It worked our really well. They came out and they were on time. They were very courteous and did a really good job. They were efficient and cleaned up afterwards. It turned out really well. We've been breathing a lot better since they cleaned everything out. I will definitely use them again.

The service was fine. They came out a couple of days later after I purchased the Big Deal. I think there were additional charges to the $149 Big Deal because we had them clean a couple of ducts that were not part of the Big Deal.

The booty-wearing, courteous, professional and friendly crew of Jason, Jonathan and David not only expertly performed the requested service but in their attention to details noticed sub-standard air handler installation and corrected that too (after a run to the home center!)

They contacted me right away, they were punctual, they came in and out however, I am so disgusted with their work, the price, the value, everything. I had a few questions and they kind of dismissed them. They vacuumed the ducts but they had all these bags that had whatever they vacuumed. This stuff was all over my house and it continues to come out from my vent. This house was built in 1984 and I doubt if this was ever done. They vacuumed and picked up whatever was just on the surface and the rest that just keeps coming up. The main thing was after they left, it was so bad that I am so disgusted. I have even gone to the doctor. I am not doing well and I am home every day and the dust is everywhere. It just kept coming out and it is gross. It was my fault because I really did not write after they left. I had to keep vacuuming the vents so now it doesn’t come out as much but I have to keep vacuuming. It was just a horrible experience with them. There are two vents face to face, about a meter apart right under the stairway and they charged me for both, when they were just face to face. They were punctual, they contacted me right away and they were aloof. They came in and put in a whole bunch of bags, they were busy doing it and I couldn’t ask them questions.

I was happy with the service. They were very good and very nice. They did what they said and they did it on time.

setting up time was easy to do. From purchase to Completion was 5 days only because I had no time earlier. They contacted me on the morning to let me know what time they'd arrive. At the door they slipped on some booties so motto mess the floor. They ave me estimated completion time and went on their way. It was neat, the vents look brand new. Very pleased. Will use again.

They were fine. Everything went fine so I have no any complaints. They seemed to be reasonable price. They were quick to come out.

I was okay with their service initially but with some followup services that I had asked for, I really wasn't thrilled with them. I had had somebody to come out for some followup service and they had made some comments about maybe the work that they did the first time around wasn't the greatest so I wasn't too thrilled with those guys. Afterwards, I don't think the quality of service was where it should have been. I actually recommended them to someone after the fact before I found out that their service wasn't that great and they were non-responsive to those folks so I didn't feel like I would be recommending them after that. The one time they said they were going to be there, they were there.

The fine print stated 10 supplies and one return. I called Angie's List trying to reach the company and inquired about additional ducts since I have 19 and three supplies. They quoted and additional $100 to have my additional ducts and returns cleaned. I called to schedule the appointment with the company and referenced my conversation with Angie's List, however the company quoted an additional $250. I think this fee is excessive. I consider them to be a fraud and their behavior to be bad business.

They arrived on time, laid down covering over the flooring, inspected the ducts and provided me an update, and cleaned the ducts.

They arrived on time for our scheduled appointment, we informed them that we were in need of additional work outside of the Big Deal that we purchased. They informed us that they had not come prepared for additional work and later advised that we would need to have our additional work done before the deal we purchased could be completed. We decided to cancel for now and request for a refund. Sonny was very congenial and understanding.

They did what they said they were going to do. I was pleased.

They were awesome. A little slow maybe....but they said the last company had not done a very good job. I liked them very much.

UPDATE They called me after I posted this review to get the issues resolved. They came out within 2 days and fixed all problems mentioned below at no cost. They were very professional and handled the situation very well and were very eager to get the problems solved. I am now a happy customer. After this resolution, I would use them again in the future. ORIGINAL They had to send out 2 crews to finish our house because the first crew's equipment broke down. No big deal, these things happen. The first crew was awesome! Professional, helpful, hard working. The second crew was HORRIBLE! Basically they lied to me and blamed problems on the first crew. I would never let this second crew back into my home to do work as they wont do it. The second crew was led by a youngish guy (probably late 20s, around my age). The first crew was unable to do my entire house because their equipment broke down. I asked them if the second crew to come would know which vents were not finished and they assured me that they would tell the second crew exactly which vents needed to be finished. Fast forward to the second crew arriving, the first thing they ask me is "Which vents need to be done". I don't know, I didn't do the first ones and I was told you would know! So I then showed him the vents that needed to be done. When they were finished, I asked them to show me which ones they did. They did not match the ones I told him that I thought needed to be done. And then he proceeded to argue with me by saying the other team said to do the "back" rooms and that he had done the "back" rooms. There is only 1 back room in my home (the rest are in the front), and when I went to check the master bedroom (in the back and one of the ones I told him he needed to do), the vents were filthy. Obviously they hadn't done that one and he proceeded to argue with me what the "back" room meant. Clearly a lack of communication between them. So I asked him to contact the first crew and verify they did the right ones. He comes back and basically said "I can't believe the first group, they vaccumed those vents, but they didn't clean them" and acted like he was ashamed. Actually no, the first group never did that room at ALL, so I caught the second guy in a lie and made him do that room. At this point, I have no idea which vents and ducts were actually cleaned because I cannot trust anything the second group said. At least 7 ducts could have been completely neglected Fast forward about a month and finally the last straw. I'm adjusting some vents in my home, and I find one vent that is filthy. Obviously they didn't clean this vent. There is no way that amount of crud could accumulate in a month (none of the other vents look like that). The second group lied to me and said they had done that vent when I asked them. Lesson learned, you have to watch these people like hawks because if you don't they will not perform the job correctly and will still take your money. I should not be expected to ensure that two groups within the same company communicate properly, that is not my job, and a service that I paid the company do do. Some of their people are great and trustworthy, and others are lazy liars.
