We had them come out and replace a pool light ($950) that was faulty. They stated that it would work and we would take "full advantage" of the upgraded light. After installation we fine out that it does not work %100 with our older system, so thanks for misleading us on the upgraded light. They determined that our GFCI switch by the pool equipment was faulty as well, replaced that and charged us for it ($75). The pool light never worked and so they recommended we reach out to an electrician. We got someone out to look at the light and switches, and they determined that MetroTech had installed the supposed "GFCI" switch improperly, and had replaced it with a non weatherproof generic switch. Not only is it not up to code, it is a safety issue! Of course I already had enough issues with this company to begin with and the owner is not super reliable on what he does or doesn't commit to. Nor does he take any ownership if there is an issue o their end. It's disappointing that for over $1,000 you can't get the job done correctly.

First time was a year ago. Took several rescheduled and several appointments to have Alex show up and finally make the repair. He does good work. We have the same issue again this year. Called Ken and he said Alex would be out on Monday. No show. He then said first thing Thursday morning. No show. Alex called Thursday afternoon to postpone till Friday. We are having a pool party Saturday and did not want a possible construction site during the party so I needed to cancel . Called Ken and told him I needed to cancel and was not happy with all the no shows and rescheduling. I take off work to be home and we have to shut our sprinklers off so they can test dry ground for the leak. Ken wished me good luck and hung up on me. I called him back and he lied saying he said good luck and I did not respond so he hung up. BS. Then he told me he did not want anything further to do with me. Really professional.

Leak discovered on Thursday evening. Ken was able to send Alex the next morning. Alex came as scheduled, diagnosed the problem, gave an estimate and was able to obtain the replacement filter system and complete the replacement within a few hours and our pool was up and running. He also checked the pool heater while he was there and suggested we contact the gas company to install a larger meter which will help the heater run better. He was polite, efficient and clearly very knowledgable about pool equipment. We are glad we found Metrotech and will contact them again for our pool repair needs.

I recently contacted Metrotech to assist with my pool pumps. They were randomly shutting down throughout the day. It first started happening infrequently and then occurring more and more. They came out and diagnosed the problem quickly. Once diagnosed, parts were ordered and they were back out quickly to perform repairs. They replaced several pool pumps that had been burned out due to heat damage. Since the work was completed,I have not had a problem and everything is been smooth sailing. I would definitely recommend them!
