Alright people, this guy is a scammer to whom I paid to complete a job fixing, leveling and staining my driveway. He added water, did incomplete work, lied about the process that he was going to do and then changed invoices on me three times. His name is DALTON MULLINS and I am currently in the process of places charges against him for incomplete work, fraud, shoddy contracting. As you can see in the pics, only stained the top part of driveway, incomplete leveling, etc. It was dark, they were rushing to finish, I expressed that it was a rushed job and that they were trying to lie... he stated he would be here this morning... but lied and now through contact refuses to do anything!!!! He refuses to do the job properly or return the requested portion of my money. Please share, no one should trust the workmanship or lies he states. Please share!!!!!

We bought 1,000 dollars worth of 18 inch travertine tile and had made it clear from the beginning it was the material to be used. Began laying tile in kitchen and we were unhappy with the fact that it was not level. Jim then ripped it up and started over, and we felt fortunate he had not laid very much. He hired a second helper to lay the tile the second time and he unfortunately finished the kitchen and the bathroom, including the shower pan, prior to us realizing there was a problem. Upon inspection of all three areas, it was clear the title was not only not level, the titles were not straight (in a linear line). We had already paid him 3,200 dollars. We then asked Jim to give us some time to figure out how to proceed as he was already over on his estimate in time, and this was his second and even more disappointing attempt to lay the title, so we said we would call him when we were ready to go forward. We did so and never received a return call. Meanwhile, there was no shower in the master bath, no tile on the backsplash in the kitchen and ungrouted, unlevel and unlinear tile on the floor in the kitchen and the bath. We were forced to call another company to complete the job, who upon arriving for the estimate, said Jim had used the wrong thin set on the tile, gray, and it would bleed through the beige tile before too long. He ripped up all 1,000 dollars worth of travertine and threw it in the trash, which meant the entire 4,200 dollars we spent with Jim was completely wasted and he refused to return our call. We then sent him two certified letters asking for the return of our money and have not heard from him. Our remodel project ended up costing double what we planned and meant we could not spend money on other projects we planned to do this year, such as replacing the fence and painting the exterior of the house. It was even more disappointing as this is someone we have used before and was the only reason we felt comfortable paying him before the job was complete. Additionally, he damaged our refrigerator and hard wood floors. The second company did a fair job over all, so at least we have an operational house now.
Description of Work: Demolition of existing tile on floor in kitchen and bathroom, backsplash in kitchen and tile/glass in shower. Laid tile in kitchen and bathroom, started shower tile.
