FREEDOM ELECTRIC

This was a very good experience. When I called for an estimate, Roger was here the next day. His biil for the work was exactly what he quoted. Roger was here for several hours on two afternoons once the roads had cleared a little. He was on time and worked constantly. He made several suggestions about improvements that I had not considered, and he didn't seem to be bothered by getting on the icy roads to go get supplies.

Roger seemed like a nice family man who also has a son participating in the Allen Special Olympics. He didn't bring this up but I noticed the sticker on his truck when I joined him to pay the bill.

Roger Davis arrived early, quickly installed the fixture on the back patio and discovered that the accent lighting fixture was working fine.

He was all that you expect and desire: knowledgeable, quick, professional, fair. We will be setting up another time and day for him to add new circuits. The estimate was higher than we wanted to get in to right before Christmas. He didn't bring along a student and ask me to pay for him too as one company did to me a long time ago. He did a very fine job and didn't make it out to be something more than what it was.

He was prompt in calling me back and coming out to look at our breaker box. Set up to do the next week. It was done in under 2 hours so we didn't have to go without electricity too long. Price was below average according to what I found on internet (1500 - 2000) so we were pleased with that.

They were prompt and the price was what we expected. It was nicely done. The price was fair. They kept in with me and let me know that they were not going to get by on the day that we agreed but asked if they could come in the morning instead. We would definitely hire them in the future.

Mr. Davis responded to my call by coming the next day to inspect the work to be done and give me an estimate. He arrived promptly on the scheduled day and time, and completed all the necessary work. He brought all the supplies he needed with him (new fixtures, bulbs, door chime), and when he left, everything was in working order as promised. His final price reflected the senior discount and the 10% Angie's List coupon, and was the same price as the quoted estimate. I would definitely use Freedom Electric again as a service provider for needed electrical repairs.

He showed up on time, was nice, did the job in good time.

It went very well. Roger did the work well, on time, and within our budget. We will definitely call on Freedom Electric for future electrical needs.

Everything went excellent. They were in and out in about 25 minutes and he showed up within 2 hours of me contacting him at first.

I emailed these guys through Angie's List on a Sunday morning. Within 15 minutes of returning my email they called me to schedule an appointment. They came out on Monday and were able to simply reset the breaker and get everything working again (something I hadn't be able to do). I wasn't happy that I was paying a service call to reset a breaker but the problem appeared to be solved. ... Four hours after they left the breaker tripped again and once again I was unable to reset it. I called them back and they promised to come out the next day and fix the problem. They did exactly that and didn't charge me for a second service call. Everything is working fine now and with the additional breaker I'm not anticipating any future problems.

Roger was very knowledgable. He showed me exactly what he had discovered. I would definitely use him again for any electrical work.

I called and left a message and received a call back within 15 minutes with an estimate for the problem. Roger was able to come out the very same day just a few hours later and took care of the problem very quickly. He was very knowledgable and friendly. I would definitely use this service again.

I called Freedom Electric on a Friday indicating we had 4 items on a home inspector's report from our buyer that needed looked at by a licensed electrician and either deemed to be appropriate or corrected; he came on Monday to provide estimate; he came back promptly Tuesday morning to perform work. We plan to use Freeman Electric to perform additional services at the new home we are moving to.

Was able to set an appointment timely, Roger came early and was finished in no time at all. His services were very reasonable. He also cleaned up! I would use Freedom again!!!

Roger answered the phone listed on Angie's list himself on the second ring. He arranged to come to my house within an hour of the call since I happen to be in his area and it was after hours so his other projects for the day were done. He arrived as expected, diagnosed, repaired and replaced the failed switch all in a matter of minutes. He charged me a service call which is fair and did not charge for me for the switch that he pulled off his truck and installed in my house. He was pleasant, professional, honest, and he got the job done right the first time.

Roger showed up in no time. Very quick diagnosis and repair. Exactly knew what is wrong and fixed right away. Highly recommend Roger for anyone who want their services. Impressed.

The electrician (I think his name was Jackie, but don't hold me to that), came and did something in the light switch box which supposedly killed the electric to the circuit I needed to demolish around. Since he was charging by the hour, he also replaced a couple of switches that had been dimmers that were not working correctly--I had the replacements laying around. He was very quick and efficient, and after completing each thing, said, "Anything else?" If I had more switches laying around, he would have had plenty of time to do those, too. However, he did not turn anything off at the box when he did anything, which made me a little nervous. When I asked him if he wanted me to throw the switch at the box for him to disconnect the one circuit in the bathroom, he said, "No." I asked him if he were brave or just foolish, and he responded that he had just been doing what he had been doing for a long time. I did not thoroughly understand what he was doing, because later on when I went to snip one of the wires that I needed disconnected to get out the stud that it was going through, it sparked. No injury, but I have a couple of pieces of wood that I still can't remove because the wire is going through them and there are outlets attached that won't go through the hole drilled for just the wire. I have the feeling he knew what he was doing, it's just that I wish that he had explained things better because I did not get exactly what I needed in the bathroom. Because I am under the impression that you always kill the electricity at the box before touching anything and because communication is part of doing the job and there was an obvious miscommunication, that is why I rated professionalism as a "C".

Roger Davis came out the day I called and evaluated the situation. He gave me a quote, and agreed to come out two days later. He added a new circuit breaker and plug to use for the microwave and coffeepot. Then he repaired the bathroom plug as well. This required him to go into our attick crawl space and run a lot of wire, so he was here almost 2 hours. He did a good job, and cleaned up. He also explained everything he did. He did have to come back a few days later to replace the box for the outside wiring as the original one was the wrong size.

They were great. They did a good job.

He arrived when he said he would, wired not one but two electric ranges (we had called for one). He pointed out that the stove we had purchased for one side was damaged, probably in the delivery. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and very capable. We have both sides of the duplex, our own home and own an office building which all need work periodically. We will call him again.

The experience was fine. He responded right away, arrived on time, and did the job.

He was very good and his price was very good. He did the job quickly and I would definitely recommend him. I would use him again in future if needed.
