Roger answered the phone quickly when I called and was able to schedule services for the next day with two hour window and a 30 minute call ahead. A previous repair person had told me that a faulty carbon monoxide detector unit would have to be rewired and it would include sheetrock work at a substantial cost. Roger was able to quickly trouble shoot and repair the problem. He also resolved two other issues that I had quickly. Will use him for future electrical needs.

Had an outdoor ceiling fan installed. Usually I don't mind installing fans, but when it comes to cutting a hole in my patio ceiling I wanted a professional to do it and that's what I got. They did a real nice job.

I spoke with Roger and scheduled an appointment for Friday (2/22) afternoon. He was to call me 30 minutes prior so I could meet him at the house. I called at 4:30 to see if he was still going to make it and he informed me that he was tied up on another job. I understand how this does happen, but I expected the courtesy of a call as soon as he knew he was not going to be able to keep the appointment.

They came out right away and did it very quickly. They did a good job and the price was reasonable.

He took care of a laundry list of electrical issues that we discovered after purchasing our home in about a quarter of the time it would have taken me on a week-end.

Poorly. Cannot recommend this company.

I think I need to shop around and even purchase the parts myself next time. I did investigate the parts used at Lowe's and Home Depot and could have purchased them for less than what I paid.

Roger, the owner and sole employee of Freedom Electric, was great in every aspect of the service. I gave the Pricing a rating of B because I paid for a two hour block of service of which only about an hour was needed. This is NOT a knock on Freedom Electric. The two hour block was a package deal offered by Angies List. So I don't know how such a deal works out when not all of the time was not used. Do I get a refund on the unused time? Don't know. I did ask Roger if he would give me a credit of an hour on future work and he said he would, but that could be so far in the future that he or I might not remember. So overall, the service was excellent. I thought I needed a GFI electric outlet installed in the master bathroom. However, Roger pointed out that the GFI in the other bathroom was for both bathrooms. That was professional of him to point out as I think someone not so professional would have installed one at additional cost to me. The extra outside light junction box that I needed for security reasons needed to be operated from the same switch used for the existing outside light. Roger observed that the wiring for the existing light was not up to code so to speak or not what he felt was a safer and better grade of wiring. So he fixed that and used the better wiring for the new light's junction box. So there you have it. I'll be using Freedom Electric in the future. P.S. Roger could have done the work about a week earlier than he did, but there were some families in the town down the road from me that did not have any electricity for some reason. He thought it best to get then squared away first and I totally agreed with him.

We were completely satisfied. Call was scheduled and completed on a Saturday. Representative worked quickly and to completion. He also was patient to work during chaos of family activities.

We needed some electrical services done in connection with selling our home, including that we had to consult with a licensed electrician on the safety of aluminum wiring. The electrician was very accommodating to our circumstances. He also worked quickly and was knowledgeable.

I had a Electrician come out from my home warranty co. and I found out later he ended up disconnecting my drain pump for my yard drain system. With out it one side of my house will flood when it rains hard. So I let Roger know about that and he went out and took care of it with no problems. No overselling, no reasons why I need to spend more money, it was quite refreshing, and i would use him and only him again if I need anything else. Great Company!!!!! Thanks Angie's List

Very good service, provided more than met expectations.

Did not get a call back to schedule a date for service.

The service was prompt, polite and efficient. We paid $150 for two hours of labor. He finished the task in less time that that and asked if there was anything else he could do for us and the found the problem with our pool light. We were quite pleased and would have them back again.

Roger is a stand up guy. Everything went very smoothly and quickly. Did exactly what he said and was spot on on his quote for the work. Will defiantly use him for any electrical, and will recommend him as we'll.

He was at my house within an hour of placing the service call and it was a Saturday morning and I was extremely grateful. He identified the problem quickly and was very thorough in his explanation of the work that he had done and what things to avoid so this would not be a reoccuring problem. I was very pleased with the amount of work Roger completed for the price. I did seek several estimates for the work and Roger had the most competitive bid. He is a one man show and this has to help him keeps costs in line. He arrived around 10am and spent most of the day completing the work. He completed everything same day and worked very steadily to get the job done. All of the holes that were cut in the ceiling for the can lights makes plenty of fine drywall dust. Although Roger does a cursory cleaning, be prepared to do some serious vacuuming, mopping, and dusting to get rid of this stuff if you have this type of work done. The lighting is fantastic and really enhances all of the rooms. You don't have to live with things the way they are, you can really change up your home to match your vision at a reasonable price. Roger even installed a complicated pool table light and would have built the ceiling fans (3) and put them up as well but I had not bought the fans yet. The other bids that I recieved where for the boxes only and not for installing the actual fans but yet they were higher. I have no doubt that this is the guy I would call for future electrical.

Roger is fast to diagnose and fix things. I couldnt believe how fast he fixed the broken circuit He came back a second day for some followup work. I feel he very efficient and can work quickly. I may need to call him back to complete the work on the rewire for the fan in the kitchen and probably will.

The electrician was prompt per appointment, did the work quickly and without a hitch. We were concerned that the previous owner had wired the ceiling fan inappropriately, and the Freedom electrician checked everything for us to make sure the new one was installed correctly. He was in and out in about 35-40 minutes.
