I would recommend Roger to anyone - very professional.

He completely forgot about the appointment time which was at 8am. I called him around 3pm that day to check in and he said that he forgot to write it down. He agreed to still come since I had stayed home from work all day. Once he got here he hung up the fan quickly but left a complete mess outside and didn't leave the area like he found it. Then because I had paid for 2 hours of service and there was still an hour left, I asked him to check an electrical socket inside. He basically told me that it was dead (I obviously already knew that) and then said he would have to get into my crawl space to check on it. And made no offer to do so. I just let him go the hour early because I was frustrated and not impressed with his lack of professionalism, scheduling, etc. I would not recommend this company.

Too much to do in new house so broke down and paid someone to install ceiling fan. Electrician was extremely quick, punctual and professional. We are very happy with service performed. Was only here for a very short time so the hourly rate was not really a great value. Figure the Angie's list coupon is just to get customers. But we have no complaints about the work done.

He was very nice when I called and had to reschedule my appointment. He arrived on time and checked my light. While this job was small and quick, I would call him if I need electrical work done in the future.

I bought a ceiling fan and thought someone from Home Depot could do the installation. Turns out the contractor from Home Depot wanted to charge me more than $150 dollars just to install the ceiling fan. Well, I decided to look around at Angie's List, and I found this deal. Considering what Home Depot's contractor wanted to charge me for the installation, I found this deal at Angie's List rather sweet. I thought one of my electrical outlets wasn't working, and Freedom Electric looked at it, and it seems there was nothing wrong with it. I sure appreciate Freedom Electric's honesty!

I called Roger at about noon and told him what I needed. He asked a couple of questions, then said he could stop by at 130. He arrived promptly, and completed the job within about 30 minutes. Very nice guy. Great work, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

He was prompt, courteous, and did a nice job, even with cutting the sheetrock to make the repair easier.

Was at my home within 30 minutes and repaired in 5 minutes. Had recommended I try a couple of things when I called the prior day which I greatly respected.

Everything was fine. Everything was done quickly.

Arrived on time. Checked the existing 110V outlet, opened it up and found an existing 220V line inside the socket. Used the same to install the dryer outlet. He was done in about 30 min. I was expecting a longer job needing an extra line to be brought from the box in the garage to laundry room about 12 feet away. I feel I paid too much ($155) for a 30 min job, but feel better thinking the job did not involve cutting through dry wall and later patching it. He was professional, and did not offer any other service at a later time for 90 minutes he owed me.

When I called, the electrician answered, and acted surprised that I had gotten his phone number from Angie's list. His exact words were, "Oh, was my number on there?" Then I had to call a couple of times before he came because he didn't give me an exact appointment. He said he thought he could drop by, or work me in. This was before either of us knew it was going to be a simple, 5-minute fix. When he came he found the button and fixed it, but left no invoice or record of the "repair". I told him I had paid $155.00 for the deal on Angie's list, and he said to call him the next time I had an electrical problem, and we could work it out. I don't doubt his honesty, but I have no record of the service performed, nor do I know what portion of the money I paid is still available for his services. My husband called him and got the same result. It just seemed as if he wasn't familiar with the program and didn't know how it was supposed to work.

He did a great job! I purchased 2 hours of service with an Angie's List deal and I was afraid he wouldn't have time to do everything, but he definitely did with some time to spare! Which was great because one of the outlets I purchased did not work, so he offered come back another day to install it once I purchased a replacement.

The electrician identified the cause of burns on the outlet as a problem with the refrigerator. He swapped the outlet and repaired the cord. He did a good job. I took advantage of a promotion. $155 for 2 hours. It took less than an hour to do the work, so I feel I overpaid for the services. In the future I will not purchase blocks of time in advance.

First of all, I scheduled a service for Wednesday morning, he never showed up, when I called he said he basically forgot. Then we rescheduled for Friday morning, but he wanted to come at 8am and I told him that it would be fine but that he needed to call when he was on his way because my wife is on maternity leave and her and the baby might be sleeping. He never called and we were awaken to dogs barking and a baby crying because a doorbell woke them up. Aside from the rocky start, Roger was very knowledgeable and basically went through the whole house with me advising us of numerous issues and there were many things that we thought were problems that he said were actually done correctly and were safe. His knowledge was indispensable. We have a fan that is only controlled by remote and the receiver in the fan was out, so we thought it would need to be replaced. We asked him to take the fan down and in doing so he realized that this fan was designed in such a way that a $35 replacement part from Home Depot was all we needed to get the fan working again. He ran to HD, picked up the part for us, and then installed it (We still had to pay him for the cost of the part). This saved us a lot of money and made the 2-hour service cost completely worth it. Roger did a great job once the service began, but he needs a new scheduling system and should always call ahead if requested to do so.

He showed up and went right to work! I haven't seen anyone so quick and efficient before. He was amazing and I will use him for all my future electrical needs.

He called me right away and set up a date but we hadn't nailed down a time in my mind. He showed up and I didn't realize he was coming. I didn't have all my materials lined up. I had paid for 2 hours and it took like 15 for him to fix my original problem. So...I asked him if I could go get a light fixture and he came back later and put it in. He did great job and was fast...just maybe need little better communication. Very efficient.

We needed someone with scaffolding or a large ladder to hang chandeliers in 20 foot rooms. Roger arrived with a massive ladder that was better that scaffolding. I forgot to get chain for one light and he rescheduled to install. Communication wasnt the best but he came and did an amazing job. He was very quick and it looks great. Overall a great experience and I would call again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He did a good job. The only problem and it's nothing negative was that I bought the package that he had and he came out to do the job and it was like one little thing after another and finally got it done so when he came out to do the job he didn't have enough time to do what I wanted him to do. Then I went out and got a fan and then the fan that he told me to get was the wrong one so it was kind of my fault. He came and got it all done. He had to come back 3 times. It was probably a waste of his time more than mine. The fact that he put up with that, I'm actually going to have him come back and do more work. He really did a good job and they kind of helped me out from keeping me from wasting time in comparison to the price of some of the other ones. Before I called him I used Milestone Electric and it was not what I expected it would be. They advertised on TV, I'm sure they went a lot overhead and I understand that. There was no additional cost. I bought the supplies and he helped me out. He told me what I needed to get so that he didn't have to charge me for getting that stuff. He was very patient in the fact that he took the time to come back 3 times where a lot of them would go, "Okay I'm going to charge you another service charge because I came out one time", and it wasn't what you said it was going to be. A lot of them would waste your time. He came and it wasn't a big deal for him. He went to buy and he came out and said, "You need to get this." I said "The problem is it won't take me a minute to go." He said, "What if I come back after a couple of days?" He was very flexible with me and honestly I probably got more than the value of the 2 hours because I probably used about 5 or 6 hours of his time. He was here every time when he said he would be here. The great thing about him is he gives you the feeling that you can easily develop the trust with him. When somebody tells you $99 and then they get here and $99 turns into $700 or $800 and he didn't do that. I was honest when he came. I was like, "I have to get this fixed in time." He was like, "You ought to put a fan up." It was probably a worse situation that what he thought it was. I think because of the hassle and everything, he just took care of it. I guess the best way to describe what it is is he's trying to build a book of customers that will continually come back. He has excellent customer service. I pay him double for that than to be messing around to get it out of you for a few bucks.

We purchased a Big Deal for Freedom Electric and about a week later he came by for about 15 minutes and basically looked over what needed to be done and left to return later to do the work. He did swap out one of our breakers (from one spot to another, not a replacement) within that 15 minutes, so I'm not sure if that constitutes "work beginning" but wanted to give full disclosure and include it here. But, since then for maybe two weeks or so we never heard from him about doing the actual work we needed done. I finally contacted him to find out what was going on and he assured me he would come by later that week. But, he never showed or contacted us again. Then, early this last week, I contacted him to come by to do the work we needed done and he said he would call me back to come by this week, but again I never heard back from him. I am seeking a refund for the money paid for coupon 809080-1 for this Big Deal. At this point, I would rather not use this vendor. I can be contacted if this needs further discussion or explanation. Thank you.

This went great. Roger stopped by late in the afternoon (as scheduled...he wasn't late) and I was concerned that he might not be able to complete the work until the next day. One of the plugs in my garage was not working, and the circuit it was on was not working either. I know next to nothing about electricity, and I felt sure this was a huge major problem that would cost a fortune and take forever to solve. WRONG!! Roger had it all fixed very quickly (turns out it not near as major as I feared), I have had no problems of any kind with it since. The fee may seem high for the time and work required. However, this was an Angie's List special, and as I had no idea of the extent of the problem, I was concerned that it would actually end up costing much more. That's why I purchased the special. However, I liked the fact that Roger was able to very quickly solve the problem and make the needed repair. He knows what he's doing, and I would definitely call him in the future if I need help with electrical issues.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine, good. They were able to get out there more quickly than anybody else.

Service was very quick and professional; ceiling fan was installed within 20 minutes of technician arriving and has worked great ever since!
