How cool is that? Teach a homeowner how to solve their problem over the phone instead of coming out and charging for a service call. I truly appreciate their willingness to walk me through it and save me money. They just earned all my future business.

Roger Davis of Freedom Electric did a great job installing outdoor surveillance cameras for me. He was punctual and professional in his work and respectful in his communications. I had also previously used his services to install a porch light which was done professionally. I would recommend him to anyone needing these types of services.

Roger was on time and took care of everything very quickly. All the changes work fine.

We had a simple issue that we thought might be a big problem. He answered my call right away, showed up quickly, and when it turned out to be nothing was extremely fair on the pricing. Will definitely call again!

No action was taken except looking around. He stated he needs to come when the electric burnt smell is present. He agreed to charge me one hour, and leave the balance one hour for next service, which I gave him on May 28th, and he never shows up, nor followed up.

I purchased the $80 coupon from Angie's List to install a ceiling fan I had previously been unable to do myself. The fan I purchased was much more involved than I thought and I didn't want to return in. Roger emailed me as soon as I bought the coupon Saturday night. We spoke Monday and he said he was usually in my area in the afternoons. I texted him on Tuesday to say I was available Wednesday afternoon. He agreed to come by at 3:30. He was RIGHT on time. He got to work quickly and installed the fan in 30-40 minutes. I was impressed! I will definately hire again!

The first appointment was missed with no phone call. When I called them because they had missed the time frame I was given, I was told I wasn't on the schedule. So a second appointment was made. He showed up on time and was here for less than 1 hour. Did a good job, cleaned up after the work was done. I have had no problems with the fan.

If u are in the ALLEN, Frisco, PLANO Area, I recommend you call Freedom electric before you call any other Electric Company. I have used other companies before and the experience, cost, Promptness and Going the extra mile for Customer satisfaction have been the key for this review. Roger, arrived to check how high the ceiling was before he could come back for the actual work. Ceiling fan point was at the 2nd floor roof. He came with a 22 FT ladder to fix the ceiling fan. Super fast work!! i bought 2 hrs of service, and had 3 major things i needed to get done. Individually it would have cost me a lot more than 150 Dollars but Roger was done in 1 hr 30 mins. Great Service, would recommend it 100%. If i need any more electrical work i know who I would contact. Thanks!!

It went great. The previous owner of my house had done some things that I did not like or want to keep. I thought I could do it myself, but when I got into it I found things that confused me so I hired an electrician. He first figured out what all was there and asked me what I wanted I would like to have. I explained what I wanted if it could be done and he accomplished it. One of the switches was a mystery to me as to what it did, but he figured it out and now I know.

Great... they did a wonderful job... great work, done quickly and right. Cost was very reasonable. Would definitely use them again. Highly recommend.

Roger came out and went over what needed to be done with my husband and said he'd get back to him and never did- we received no call back. If you don't want the job that's fine but at least have the courtesy to say so.

One worker came out and did several different things. He was very professional. He actually checked several things for me to make sure they were up to grade, like my light fixtures and some outlets. He didn't charge me anything to do that. It was great. He cleaned everything all up when he was finished. It took him about two hours to do all the work.

He arrived when he said he would. He did the work and clean up after himself. The work was great and he was professional.

Richard was on time and very professional. He quoted a price and that's what I paid. I will use Freedom Electric again

I don't remember much, but Angie's List keeps nagging me to write a review. I purchased a "deal" for two hours of electrical work. There was an electrical outlet that had stopped working and I had some other general questions about my home's electrical system that were brought up by the home inspector when we purchased the house. Work was done quickly and professionally.

All went well. Had other contractor here at same time. After he installed new outlet, failed to clean up mess and left me with all the dust and debris from where he cut the sheetrock. Un-professional. Other than that, work was acceptable.

I bought a deal for two hours of work. He finished in less than one hour! Fast, efficient.

I hired Freedom electric from an Angies List deal and Roger came promptly and did a great job installing the landscape lighting in no time and it looks Fantastic! He was prompt and responsive. Very happy with the results.

He came out at the scheduled time, but he had not brought a ladder, so the day was wasted and had to be rescheduled. He came out 2 days later and was just getting the new ceiling fan put together and realized that the long down rod was not compatible with the brand of fan, so I either had to go purchase another rod---but instead opted to have him move a fan from another room that matched the one to be replaced and then have him put the new fan in the room that didn't require a long down rod. All in all it took 3 trips to get the job done and we paid him another $40, even thought the first trip out without the ladder was not our fault.

This gentleman came and looked at what I needed to have done. He installed my outlets outside and then I asked him for a quote on installing a couple outlets in my garage. We set a date for him to come back, which he did. He cleaned up after himself and fixed my outlets for me. Very punctual and I am happy with my outlets.

The service turned out great. There were no additional costs on top of the $155 Big Deal and everything went smoothly.
