We were advised a guy would come down to measure even though we'd already provided those measurements. The guy didn't show up and didn't call. He finally arrived 4 days later after providing a few different excuses. The order for flooring had already been placed on June 23rd so I'm not even sure why they sent him. The installation process was scheduled, frequently delayed and finally began in late August. They arrived on a Wednesday after lunch and rushed to get the flooring down because they wanted to get back to Dallas by Friday. Our original agreement included hauling away the old carpeting. They tried to back out of doing that but after some arguing about the original agreement to do so they finally took it away. I complained to Lumber Liquidators about that but they weren't very concerned. We removed the baseboards for the flooring to go down. They cut notches in the corners of them before placing them back down. The base boards in the closets didn't fit properly when they were replaced either. There was excess glue remaining on the hardwood when they left. They sent 3 guys back after I complained and they were to buff the floors and remove the glue. They arrived with rags, not a buffer. The glue is still there and I am having to remove it myself. They think they did all they were suppose to do even though it was a poor job. They have washed their hands of it and moved on. It was a very negative experience. I do not recommend this company in any way.
Description of Work: I purchased hardwood flooring from Lumber Liquidators in Tyler, TX. They subcontracted this company, Fairway Floors to do the installation. It was a very bad experience.
