Horrible. He agreed to demo kitchen, assemble & install cabinets, fix electrical, hook up appliances, tile floor & backsplash, install lighting, frame out & finish enlarged wall openings in 3 weeks for 3000.00. When we ran into electrical trouble which added another 1000.00 & 1 week. · I ended up paying a total over 5000.00 in labor charges & I'm at the 9 week mark when I let him go. · The upper cabinets are crooked - so much so that the crown molding can't be applied without lowering them · The electrical outlets are still open & light switches are mounted into the upper cabinets. · The transition molding between tile & wood floor is non-existent. · The hole he made in the ceiling is still gaping open · The door moldings are 1/2 the width they were supposed to be as well as pieced together & look horrible There is more, but I won't go on - needless to say, this is devastating. I saved & spent my life savings to remodel this 1978 kitchen & David Deats made a mess & I have to pay thousands I don?t have to finish it so I?ll be living with an incomplete kitchen until I can afford to complete it. :o( The tile floor and backsplash look beautiful ? maybe that is what he should stick to ? he is NOT detail oriented, does not show up half the time & left me with an unfinished kitchen & no funds to finish it with.
