I highly recommend ArborDocs. Owner Suzie, Cameron, Victor and the whole team did an incredible job for us. We have over 40 large trees on our property and really wanted someone who would love our trees as much as we do. We interviewed several different companies and Suzie immediately stood out from our first meeting. She took the time to thoroughly assess each tree to determine health and the maintenance that was needed tree by tree. As we walked around, she also explained several things related to watering, disease resistance and other tips for each specific tree variety we have. She is thoroughly knowledgeable about trees and really wants to care for them to restore them to peak condition so they can thrive for many years to come. She is not only focused on the aesthetic look of trimming the trees but more importantly on how to trim to prevent future trunk issues or disease which is extremely important to us. I also appreciated that she took the time to send us a detailed spreadsheet with tree by tree recommendations and priorities since we had more work than could be done in the planned 2 days. When it came time for the onsite work, Suzie came out that morning to walk the whole crew around to each each tree and discuss the trimming plan for each specific tree. I have worked with companies in the past where the person you initially talk to does not show up on work day so there is a disconnect between what you discussed with the owner and what the crew executes when they do the work. She ensures that does not happen by also coming by the next day to fine tune any recommendations as they are working. Her son Cameron is the on-site crew leader and is also extremely knowledgeable about trees, shrubs and all sorts of things. He and his crew worked very hard over the course of two days to trim many of our 30-40 year old trees and add cable supports on some trees that had large limbs separating from the main trunk to prevent future breakage. They took gentle care to ensure trees were properly trimmed and also cleared trees away from the house, garage etc. They also did a terrific job of clean up. I am so glad we chose them and will use them from this point forward because it is obvious how much they care about what they are doing.

Based on recommendations, I called ArborDocs for advice on my HUGE sick ash tree. Wow. These guys are great. Suzie (owner, certified arborist) spent 45+ minutes analyzing, listening to my concerns, and giving several options with recommendations. I could tell I was getting expert advice. Never did I feel pressured. When they came back to trim the tree and treat for borers, again I was very impressed. Suzie was there along with her son Cameron (co-owner, certified arborist). Suzie spent 30+ minutes relaying the plan to the crew. She remembered everything we had discussed and the crew clearly understood the plan and gave input as well. A certified arborist (Cameron) stayed the entire time overseeing and hands-on. Cameron took time with me to clearly explain it all including things I could do to care for the tree going forward. The tree now looks great. They carefully trimmed dead/dying branches while leaving as much as they could. The tree retained its overall shape with much dead weight off the tips. I understand an ash tree of this age and disease may not survive much longer, but I’m convinced ArborDocs has given the tree its best shot at prolonged life. AborDocs gets Two Thumbs Way Up.
