So sorry you were not pleased. We are usually very competitive. I'd be very interested in understanding what the other companies were offering. Pocket doors are somewhat complex, and require carpentry and drywall skills. I do hope the company you finally chose was able to satisfy you.

Description of Work: Handyman Matters was hired to install a new pre-hung $1000 front door. They sent one person who had no idea how to install a door. 10(ten) hours later the door was not completely installed and it was damaged in multiple places. Handyman Matters purchased a new door and the second time around sent a team of 2 people who did know how to install the door; however, this time around they damaged the sensor for the home alarm. We had that fixed and Handyman Matters deducted that from the amount due them for the install. |Overall, the workmanship was awful. But, they did what they could to make the situation right by purchasing a new door and paying for the damage to the alarm sensor.

I am surprised at your review after everything we did to make sure your job was done properly and to your satisfaction. Admittedly, the original craftsman that was scheduled did not have the necessary experience and did, unfortunately, damage your door while trying to install it. However, another one of our craftsmen drove from Frisco to Dallas to pick up the last remaining unit in the area that matched the one you provided. Then, two of our best craftsmen were assigned to ensure the door was properly installed. Upon completion, you informed us your alarm was not functioning properly. I offered to call your alarm company on your behalf, but the number you gave me was no longer in service. You said you would take care of it. I tried following up with you several times over the course of four months. When I finally reached you, you informed me you had not pursued repair for the security system and also stated you didn’t feel you owed us any money. After further discussion, you finally offered half of the invoiced amount, which I agreed to in light of the difficulties you experienced. I believe our entire team went above and beyond to make sure you were treated fairly and were happy with the final result.
