Description of Work: My garage door had not opened since before we purchased our house approximately two years ago. We needed to fix the door in order to get the exterior painted. David from Affordable Overhead Door Co. answered my call politely and professionally, and came over to check our door and give us an estimate that very same day. He didn't have the right spring in his truck, (ours required an older style), but promptly sent over another repairman, and had the door fixed within the hour. I was further impressed by their work when, a day later, one of the bolts, (mistakenly placed by the previous owner), caused a malfunction in the up to then properly working/fixed door, and a repairman came out within an hour of my phone call and replaced the misplaced peice without charge. I was very happy with the service and price of affordable overhead door co, and would recommend them to everyone. I will definitely be using them again if any problems ever arise.

Description of Work: Garage doors were not operating correctly. Serviceman came and did a tuneup on all three doors. Later one of the doors continued to have problems. I called them back, they responded promtly. It was determined that the motor was going out on the opener, and it would be cheaper to replace the whole unit vs. the motor. He gave me a discount on the unit because they did not diagnose the problem correctly the first time

Description of Work: Somehow the chain slipped off the sprocket on the garage door opener, so door wouldn't go up or down. Called Affordable Overhead Door and left a message. He called me back and we set up an appt. for the following morning. He came, checked it out, and said that a bolt cover came off, allowing the chain to slip. He put one on and didn't charge me, because he said that the work he did on it two months ago was still under warranty. Cool.
