He missed our first appointment due to a "family" issue but did not call. He eventually came by and put up our lights, but looked unprepared. He had one of his staff put them up the year before and they did a good job. Not the same for Mark. It took him about 4 hours and he charged us $450 for a job that was 90% finished. When it came time to take the lights down, he missed the appointed time and again did not notify us he was not coming. He still has not responded to our e-mails or calls and the Christmas lights are still up outside since I cannot climb a ladder to get on the roof.
Description of Work: We hired Mark Josendale, CEO of Luxury Window Cleaning to put up our exterior Christmas lights.

I purchased the services through a half price special on Living Social. I called the provider, as instructed, and was told by whoever answered the phone that I needed to schedule via email and was given an email address and the information that should be included in the email. I emailed and the service was scheduled. On the day the service was to be performed, when no one had shown up 45 minutes after the time scheduled, I called and left a message. A 1/2 hour later I received a call from a worker who asked if I was scheduled for today. When I said yes, he indicated that he would head over after he completed the job he was working on. I said ok. He called back about 15 minutes later and said that his GPS indicated that it would take him about 1 hour to get to my house. It was already late in the day and I had company coming. So I told him to forget it and that I would contact the office to reschedule. I didn't have a good feeling about my interactions with the company and decided rather than reschedule, I would request my money back, which I did in an email--twice, because after no response for a week, I sent a second email. When I finally heard back, from the office, there was not a response to my request for a refund but an email scheduling service. I decided to give the company another chance rather than try to get my money back but I couldn't be available at the scheduled time, so I responded with a request for service on July 27. The service was scheduled for 8 am. Two men arrived about 8:30 am and cleaned my windows in about 90 minutes. They did inside and outside the windows, removing the screens, but not cleaning the screens or the tracks between screen and windows. They were careful about not making a mess inside the house but couldn't get to a couple of windows because there was furniture in the way and the inside cleaner said he had an injured back. The two men who cleaned the windows were polite and professional, although the inside cleaner was "a talker" and spent a bit too much time chatting me up. While my interactions with the company management were poor, the men who did the cleaning were quite competent.
Description of Work: I purchased a special this company had on Living Social for interior and exterior cleaning of ten windows.

They washed some of our windows as well as our garage floor. The workers were polite; however, they were unable to finish all the windows on our 3-story townhome because they failed to bring a tall ladder (despite having been told in advance by me both verbally and in writing that our townhome is 3 stories tall). Three additional appointments were scheduled in order to have the remaining windows cleaned but they failed to show for the appointments. When I finally refused to reschedule a fourth time and requested a partial refund, the owner of the company agree to send me a check for $20. I never received it. When I researched the company a bit further online, the only positive review I saw was one submitted by MJosendale- the owner of the company is Mark Josendale. In sum, I would absolutely not recommend this service provider to anybody else.
Description of Work: Window washing & powerwashed garage floor.
