Crown provided a detailed bid package, performed work in a professional and timely manner and followed up promptly for system adjustments after the install.

The provider was prompt and knowlegable. Able to work around issues involving the age of the TV (old) and a gas pipe hiding within the wall. I definitely plan to use them again.

As usual, Jay was prompt with his response and as always, courteous. He provided me specific instructions if I wanted to attempt this simple 'fix' myself, or he would take the time to come by and take care of it for us. His instructions were very clear, so I was able to effect the 'fix' myself. Jay did our installation over 2 years ago. From time to time, we have an issue with the system and Jay is always polite and courteous helping us by personally taking care of the matter or giving us simple and understandable instructions if we wish to try taking care of it ourselves. In most instances, he does not charge for this follow up. However, when something does require a charge, he is always fair. We recommend Linked Up Media and Jay Jarrett without any hesitation whatsoever.

We were finally done with most of our projects at the new house we had just bought. The final icing on the cake was going to be the media room. I wanted someone who knew what they were doing. When I found Linked up Media on Angie's list and saw the ratings, I couldn't believe it. I was so happy! So I called on a weekend day, Saturday or Sunday, in late August, 30th or 31st. I knew they probably would not pick up so I left a message for Jay. On his answering service, he says all calls are important to them. That's good, right? Well, there was no call back on Monday, so I had to call him back on Tuesday, the 2nd of September I believe. He picked up and was not apologetic at all about not returning my call even after I told him I left him a message a couple days prior. Anyway, no big deal, I understand that he could be busy. I told him that I wanted to get together with him to see what we can do with our media room. I was again happy to find out that he is in Frisco, like I was, so he knew the kind of house I was talking about. But this is the part that bothered me a bit. Instead of him taking a minute to ask for my info, he tells me to email him and he will get back to me. I emailed him on the 9-5-14. Today is the 19th. I have not heard anything from him at all. That is all i need to know. Don't care if the work is good or not. If you can't even communicate, you will have a problem with me. I guess all calls nor emails are that important to Jay. We have since moved on to another company. I will not rate someone bad on their work since we don't know how it is. But when it comes to responsiveness and professionalism, well, what else can I say. Reply to Linked Up Media: Since I was remembered, i guess that means I am verified, don't you think? I DO have the email in my sent box with no return saying there was a problem. So Jay did get it. Also, verified that I called him at around 11:30 am on Tuesday. If that is bright and early then I don't know what to say.

They were very good, excellent. They knew what they were doing and they're prompt. They came in and I could tell that the expertise was there. They had some recommendations, put everything in place and they really worked well. They also answered all of our questions and they called us with an additional follow-up and there's no charge with that. The price seems reasonable to me.

We used Linked Up Media for a major surround sound/flat screen installation several years ago off of Angie's List. We couldn't have been more pleased with his work. Jay has always been responsive when we've had questions about that system. When it came time for some additional work, we immediately called Jay. Couldn't say enough about his professionalism and quality of work.

Jay and his crew did a stellar job from the start. He came over to check out the house while under construction and gave a quick bid on what we could do, options and recommendations. I appreciated the time and recommendations with options. When it came to the actual installation, Linked Up was thorough in explaining the process, the time-frame, as well as how to best use the system. Our system was easy to learn, and the entire A/V setup runs from your mobile device or tablet which is great. Good teacher too! I had installed all of our media room audio and visual equipment but lacked expertise in the technical set up of both. I found Jay here on Angies list and called for an appointment. Jay followed up with me and set a time to meet, he arrived on time and in an hour he had everything working perfectly.

It went really well. Jay did an impeccable job in installing the TV onto the wall and picked great products for us. Plus, he's very professional and an all-round nice, pleasant individual.

Full home theater system was installed in a day - and Jay came back the next day to "tie up loose ends".

Jay was one of 3 people I had come quote my theater room project. I wanted it installed by our Superbowl party and Jay was able to meet my timeline. What set Jay apart from the other vendors was his knowledge. This guy knows his stuff and is willing to share his knowledge of everything from speakers to receivers to screen and projector. He recommended the best products for my needs and wants. He even steered me away from a product if it wasn't necessary even though I was wanting it. I would recommend him and will use him again if I ever upgrade or do any other projects. As for the install... Jay showed up on time Monday morning January 28th around 9am. He started drilling speakers in ceiling (very clean process). Then they installed the projector and went to lunch. Next was projector screen, receiver, ps3, direct tv and then demoed everything for me. The system really rocked during a few scenes in Avatar. I am very happy and want to thank him again!

Jay was amazing as always! I have used him for over 7 years. Always, prompt, courteous and extremely professional. He came in under the estimate he have me. Highly recommend.

It went just great. This was a relatively small job but I needed someone who (1) had a solution for the overall problem and (2) had the technical knowledge of a wide variety of issues with the telephone and other wiring in the house. I have real confidence that Jay didn't just do the job, he did it right (which included correcting a couple of problems that existed before he arrived). The part cost $300. He and his dad did a lot of work for the other $300.

We contraced with this company to install a 65" TV above our fireplace on a brick wall. However, after he arrived, he (owner) said they cannot not install TV's over fireplaces in Carrollton as it was against the city code in Carrollton. We were suspicious of that answer, yet because we wanted the TV hung in time for Christmas, we accepted his answer. My husband suspected he just didn't want to do the job because it wasn't as easy as installing it on a wall. In any event, he installed it on the wall, yet he left without verifying everything worked correctly. We were on the phone with Verizon several times, and even to this day it is not working correctly and Verizon thinks it may be faulty cable that was used. We are still troubleshooting. Meanwhile we contacted the City of Carrollton and was told that no such ordinace exists, and the only requirement to hanging a TV above the fireplace is that heat/fire resistent cables/cords be used. When I called the company to advise them the city said no such ordinance existed, and that we wanted the TV located where we originally requested it, he said he would not do it. We were charged almost $700 to install a TV that has nothing unique about the installation, and our further research confirms the charge was excessive for what was done. The wires are all exposed below the TV, and at a minimum, they should not be for the money we paid. We are still trying to decide if we should dispute the charge with our credit card company until we get the service we initially requested. Yet on the other hand, we really don't want to do business with a company that would lie and say they can't do an install a certain way due to a city ordinance that does not exist.

We are thrilled to have found a qualified and professional stereo and home theater service provider. We will definitely use Jay again. Thank you, Jay!

Jay was very tidy while the installation was taking place. He was also careful to remove all the empty cartons, wiring and packing materials associated with the items he installed for us. Following the installation, Jay took time to explain the functioning of our new equipment. He provided an instruction sheet for us (for which he recently sent an update) and telephoned more than once to be certain that everything was functioning properly for us. He was patient to explain functions with which we struggled until we became confident. Our installation was completed on time and functions beautifully. It is precisely what we requested and in fact, the video equipment Jay recommended is actually pretty stunning. There is no doubt that we would, without reservation, recommend Jay Jarrett and Linked Up Media to anyone desiring home theatre or audio.

EXCELLENT !!!! Jay is truly GREAT and extremely professional !!! I have found through the years it is almost impossible to find a legitimate and knowledgeable TV/sound technician. Jay epitomizes what a person in his field should be. He REALLY knows his trade and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He came to our house a few weeks back to determine what was needed to bring our system back to life. We were having numerous issues and Jay was immediately able to analyze and recommend a fix. I am an old school guy and we had an old CD player that was in essence dead, but I wanted a replacement. Jay said we would not need the CD player any longer with the system we were getting but I told him I still wanted one. CD players are difficult to find these days but Jay came up with one ( I think one of the few left on the planet ). Upon receiving my quote I told Jay to order the material needed to do the job. We scheduled the install for today, 1/7/2013. He showed up, pulled many cables, dismantled everything, rewired the entire new system, reset speaker loudness levels, adjusted outdoor speakers, re-hung the TV, gave my wife and me instructions on how to use the "new" SONOS system, and cleaned up any mess he had made. He is also sending us a "cheat" sheet if we lose our way on the operation of the new system. It is relatively simple, even for non-technical people like my wife and me so hopefully we won't need it but it was very professional on his part to offer to furnish this. We would HIGHLY recommend Jay to anyone who needs stereo, sound or TV work done. Buddy & Irene B.

Jay called back quickly after our initial phone call and set up a time to come out and talk about our needs. He emailed the estimate shortly after and we accepted. The installation date was agreed upon. Jay and his dad are a great team! They are extremely knowledgeable and professional.
