The Plumbing Doctor

Installation was fine. I didn't hear from him for several days (perhaps a week or more) after I called. I thought the price was a little high.

They were very professional and courteous. He was very prompt and completed the job in a timely fashion. They price wasn't unreasonable.

I called plumbers all over the city. The plumbing doctor was able to come right away, got the job done, and was without complication.

Called the plumbing doctor in the morning and they arrived early afternoon and replaced the subject hardware again in a timely and professional manner. I am very pleased with the service and would recommend the Doctor to anyone needing help with any plumbing needs.

Rick (The Plumbing Doctor) came to my aid when my laundry washer drain cycle was backing up into my kitchen sink (yuk!). He was quite busy when I called, but came as soon as he had an opening (about a day and a half). Using his electric drum "power snake," he took care of the stubborn problem, which involved working around some damaged under-slab drain lines. After he got them flowing freely again, he also offered some good advise for future situations. I have used Rick a couple of times before, and he has always done a good job for me. He may not be the most charming guy in town, but he is an honest plumber who you can trust to shoot you straight and do a good job at a fair price. He's basically a one-man operation, so he tends to be pretty busy, but will do his best to get to you as soon as he can, which I do appreciate. Being a smaller operation, he doesn't handle the larger jobs that require the heavy equipment and hi-tech tools, but is great for the run of the mill plumbing problems, as well as remodel / repair work, like shower pan replacements. His prices seem to be in line with, or perhaps even a little better than other plumbers I have used. So if you understand that he is trying to get to you as soon as he can, give Rick a call!

Rick came out as scheduled and was able to clear out a slow drain line in the laundry / kitchen area. It took some additional time and effort since he ran into some unexpected obstructions (packed dirt!), but was able to get it done successfully. Since he has a small business operation, he sometimes gets a little backed up, but always tries to get to me as soon as he can. So I will be definitely be using the Plumbing Doctor again in the future!

I called him and he said he would be here at a certain time. He never showed up. I called after an hour, he did not respond. I left messages several times. After the third time, I went to another plumber.
