Description of Work: Insurance paid for complete roof repair. The chimney needed work and the cap needed to be replaced and the contractor did an excellent job and didn't complain but did it with a smile and thanked me for work. I will always use them if and when I need work.

 + -1 moreHired Sitton based on a friend's experience. Old roof had loose shingles, etc. but was not leaking. Decided it was time to get a new roof. Actual installation went OK, but half way through the job Sitton showed up and asked for a $10,000 advance, which had not been discussed prior to then. After installing the new roof, I experienced leaks on 3 separate occasions. Called Sitton for the first two. One was a leak around chimney flashing. They came out and re-caulked. More major, th second leak was in dining area, completely flooding our dining table. Discovered that an area of flat roofing had been replaced with shingles, even though Sitton's quote called for hot tar and rolled roofing. His foreman told me at the time that he told Gary Sitton that the roof was too flat to use shingles, but that Gary said to do it anyway. They came back out and spent a whole day removing the shingles and then going back with hot tar and rolled roofing...as was originally quoted! Gary Sitton told me that he used shingles because he knew that I was concerned about appearance. But the section of the roof is not visible from the street or from the yard! On third leak, I found the problem and fixed it myself...wanted no more to do with Sitton Roofing. About a year after this roof was put on, we had the Easter hail storm and Sitton's work was completely replaced with a new roof from a different roofer.
