Two men showed up to fix one little faucet with a leaky washer. But because it was rusted on, I wasn't able to get the faucet off myself. It took approx 10 minutes. Charged me 250$ He explained that I was paying for a service call using 2 men, 150$ and the little outdoor faucet was 100$. I don't plan on ever using them again.

It went amazing. They were courteous and very informative on the work they did. I would use them again when I need.

I hate to offer such a poor review, but my family has 2 data points to offer. 1) In January, we noticed water leaking on the exterior of our house at the seam between the brick and slab. Midway's professional offered an estimate all the way up to $16K (yes $16K !!!!!) ... lower end somewhere around $6K, without doing ANY troubleshooting. Literally. Midway pro just looked for 15 mins then spent 30 mins writing an estimate. Again, NO real troubleshooting. Troubleshooting estimate (to use their fancy tools) was at least 2K. We had another plumber come out, and they diagnosed the issue as a leaking hose bib. Cost = $250. Not kidding. A REAL plumbing company found / fixed it in less than an hour. 2) Had to try Midway again after another leak in our bedroom and the other plumbers unavailable for days. Really did not want to call them, but zero other options. Estimate, again, w/o real troubleshooting, upwards of $3K, more likely $6K according to the pro. Lucky enough to have another company get a plumber free that afternoon, and they fixed the leak for $281. Literally. Wow. Absolutely do not recommend Midway Plumbing. Look elsewhere, and do not use them. Us civilians need someone to get to the problem, and Midway is NOT it. I don't think the fault lies w/ the workers. Rather, I believe they are being told to upsell "electronic leak detection" and "pipe lining" in order to pay for expensive machinery the company bought or leases. Unfortunately, their folks are NOT into actually looking for the cause of leaks, but are rather marching out and trying to sell pipe lining and electronic leak detection. Again, do NOT use.

Midway Plumbing performed annual water heater maintenance at no cost as part of their 10 year warranty. They found an issue with a faucet during their home inspection and fixed it. I appreciate having a plumber that is always upfront, friendly and professional.

Gary replaced the broken pump installed about a year earlier. We really, really like our pump! Gary has saved me so many dollars and headaches over the last 3-4 years. We live in a 60+ year old house and very little of the plumbing had been replaced. Over time, Gary checked various areas where he was working and found several places where pipes were just about to burst. Replacing the pipes Before they burst is a whole lot easier, cheaper, and less messy than after they burst. Only the pipe behind the water heater was left and, when I finally got around to scheduling that repair, one small flake of metal was all that was between us and a water leak in the wall. Gary found and replaced that and now all plumbing in this house has been updated back into the walls. I am sold on this company and Gary, in particular. If I need a plumber, I'm calling Midway.

The quality of the work Midway provided was fine, but the way in which it was provided was horrifying. Several times, the serviceman (I can't remember his name - I blocked it out from trauma I suppose) made veiled sexist comments to me ("I'm very supportive of women working outside the home when they don't have children to take care of!") and then capped off his visit by asking my husband to stand aside as he showed me how to disconnect the lids from my toilet seats "So you can clean them better!" I was mortified and my husband was snorting to keep from busting out laughing. So if you want a flashback to the 50s along with your plumbing repairs, this is the company for you. Otherwise? Steer clear.

The were very nice. Figured out the problem quickly and were through with everything done is a very short time. I appreciated how nice and professional they both were.

Install worked for 10 years at which time I sold the property.

Everything went well. They seemed to know what they were doing. My only complaint is that they are very expensive that's why I gave them a B rating. Their service does deserve an A rating..

I could not understand what was the reason the cost was so high for such a small job. He told me they do not have hourly rates, they go by prices provided by Midway in a book. This is not the first time I had this company in to provide work and there have always bin high . I feel that they are cheating people by charging $79.00 for a service calls and quoting a high price for service knowing that the home owner would not accept the job and have to pay the service charge. I have called another service provider to come in and give me a bid for the same job. They provider a bid one third of Midway. The work was completed and would never recommended Midway to anyone.

They were very responsive. It took awhile to find the leak but they found it and they improved the location of the valve so that it will be easier to find in case I need to find it again. They completely fixed the problem

He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Even helped work with the home warranty company. Kept me updated at every step.

An appointment was scheduled for the day after I called. Vance came right on time and gave me a written estimate for several options to repair the leak. The options included re-routing the line through the attic, re-lining the defective line, re-lining all hot water lines, re-lining all hot and cold water lines or jack-hammering up my foundation and repairing the leak. I chose the re-route. Since Vance was going on vacation, he recommended Zach to do the work. Zack and a helper arrived on time, quickly identified which line was leaking and discussed what he would do. He had to cut out a piece of sheet rock in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. Then he cut the leaking line at each end and attached a PEX line, routing it through the walls and attic. The line was fully insulated to protect against freezing - even though PEX will not burst even if it freezes. I had discussed the use of PEX with a friend who is a builder of high-end homes and he said that they use only PEX and only run the lines in the attic. The work was accomplished quickly and professionally. Zach and his helper wore and quot;bootiesand quot; on their shoes to protect our carpet and cleaned up all debris when the job was finished. I was very satisfied with all aspects of my experience except one: My only complaint is that they wanted to charge an extra 10% if payment was made with a credit card. Being in business myself, I know that merchants only pay about 3% (or less) to the credit card processor, so I felt that 10% was unjustified. I wanted to use a credit card in order to get the and quot;perksand quot; the card offers.

We have used them a couple of times and will continue.

Very good service. The serviceman was very helpful and did all he could do to work with my work schedule. The work was performed quickly and everything was left as they found it. I was extremely pleased and I feel that they went above and beyond my expectations.

As always, Midway performed another plumbing service at our house and completed the job to make us 100% satisfied. The best thing is they work efficiently to minimize the time their time at our house without sacrificing quality. Midway is the only plumber you should call!

We had a drainage problem; they provided an estimate, but upon working the amount tripled, without notice. While the work was OK, it did not warrant the excessive cost, and the repairman was unresponsive.

Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Look forward having them back again in my home.

The service man that came out was extremely helpful and very nice. He helped with the gas leak and got all the needed permits that was needed. I replaced the gas line myself and with his help got the gas back on. Very good plumbing contractor!

We've worked with Midway several times over a period of a year and a half (just bought this older house, but we love it!) and I'm extremely gratified to say that the level of customer service, professionalism and expertise is through the roof. I've been repeatedly impressed, and we've worked with at least 4 different plumbers with the company -- with the intelligence, know-how and integrity of each man who has come out. We had a blockage in a pipe outside (some ancient broken-off piece of equipment had become limescaled) and replaced two water heaters in the time - both big jobs and expense. I appreciate the way they give options for different ways to fix a problem. Their pricing method, with the book and the standard fees for each jobs, I find actually works well. Yes, their prices might end up being higher, but I'll pay for excellence and peace of mind any day. And when you count in those factors it all seems very reasonable. I also wonder if the way they fix things ends up saving money on additional visits later. Also, I didn't mean to get something for nothing, but I think each time they came out there was something-or-other little that I remembered when they were here, asked about, and the person just easily fixed it and included that in the visit (see loose faucet above). That might not seem like much, but it does me much good, and leaves me with a feeling of caring and decency, not to mention being delighted because however small, whatever it was is now fixed and working properly. Another thing is that they've worked with us on diagnosing problems, which is not an exact science. Just like a visit to the doctor, sometimes it takes a while to determine what's wrong inside the walls or under the ground. From what I've seen, they use their experience, professional knowledge and tools to figure out the source of a problem, but if it's not clear they don't lie and say it's something and charge for it and be done. They say we don't know but we'll try and find out, and have involved us as the homeowners in the process. I so highly recommend this company, and thank them.

Midway was very professional, explained everything in great detail, drew maps and effectively identified the problem as well as fixed it very well. They were very helpful and kind. I really appreciated the time they took to explain the issues and potential damage and causes.

He came right away, because it had overflowed everywhere. He worked for 2 hours. He was excellent! I can't say enough nice things about this company--I've used them before, and they are consistently very good.

The plumber from Midway was very experienced and acted professionally. One nice thing about Midway is that they look at all of the issues you have and give you a free estimate. They won't proceed with any work or charge you a dime unless you authorize it. So that's what happened. Due to price to fix the faucet out back and the slow-running sinks, I decided not to have him fix it, but I authorized the sewage line to be cleaned. He did his thing to clear it out. In the process, he found a root that was blocking the sewage line so he had to run a tool down the line to cut a hole through it. After he cleared it all out, he ran the camera down the line to show me what he had done and to show me where the root was. After everything was fixed, I wrote him a check and he was off. The work is guaranteed for 2 weeks. Overall, it was a great experience. The only B's given were for price and punctuality. $165 for under an hour of work seems steep. Also, they were really busy that Friday and unable to perform the work Friday morning. Instead they came later Friday afternoon. All-in-all, I'll use them again.
