They charged me for two hour work and in my opinion, it should have only taken an hour. They charged me for two hours to put in a faucet. It was a new faucet. It's a touch faucet so it has batteries in it and if you touch it, it turns on and off. They took longer than I thought it should to put in a faucet. And then, it wasn't correctly done so I have to call the guy back and have him fix it but they didn't charge me for additional.

Longmire Plumbing were very professional, very knowledgeable, friendly, they were here on time, and they did a very good job.

I purchased a house in Abilene with a slab foundation. One could see from repairs in the kitchen floor that there had been a water leak in the foundation. There had also been piers added around the foundation on the outside. I wanted to be sure that all the leaks were fixed before I began renovations. It rained on the day of the appointment and they didn't show. I called them and they rescheduled for the next day. There are 4 clean-outs around this house. They tested each one and discovered the 'new' drain design. I was grateful to know the drain configuration from the previous repairs. They also tested the incoming water pressure and snaked the drain from the main clean-out to the alley. They were friendly and knowledgable.

Everyhting went well, swift and clean! My one and only concern was the elevated bill that was higher than I expected. The labor was billed with 1.5 hrs when the actual time spent at the home was total of 45min plus the 15min they spent at their shop working on the unit. The remaining 30min can be attributed to their commute time back to their shop for parts/repair, then return to my home--11 total miles, local in-town commute. Although this was not detailed on the bill, I concluded to be the only logical reason, knowing the facts of their time spent at the home. For reasons of my already tight time contraints to report to my normal job, much of the math was done after the fact, later that evening, trying to figure out why the bill was higher than anticipated. For that reason alone I accept responsibility. The least I can do is share the lesson learned.
