Juan, the electrician, pretty much knew what the problem was as soon as I described the situation. Our outside outlet lost power. The fuse was still on. We had checked the GFCI outlets that the outside outlet were connected to. However, we did not check the outlet on the back wall in the garage seeing how the other outlets were working and that back one had been covered by boxes. Juan checked all the outlets and said it must be one in the garage and so he started, with my permission, to move the boxes. Sure enough there was on outlet with a GFCI and that was that. All fixed. We felt really dumb for not having checked this ourselves. Juan explained that when we had plugged in the power cord into the outside outlet, that there must have been some dampness or water and that triggered the GFCIs. Because it was a simple and quick fix and we still had to pay the $75 hour fee, he said he would look over the fuse box to make sure everything was tight seeing how the house is older. So, I thought that was a good thing. All in all, I wish we had thought to look behind the boxes before calling the electrician, but they came out and were very thorough and professional. We would highly recommend this company, prompt, call before they arrive, excellent reputation, knowledgeable, professional, and the woman at the office was very helpful.

Key City Electric (Also known as Lone Star Electric) was called on a Monday morning. Receptionist was very polite and set me up to have two vanity and one overhead light installed in a master bathroom for the next day. I told them I preferred morning and the receptionist stated it would be before noon, but don't wait around because they would call before coming to my home. Two service men called just a little after 8 am and I met them at my house. The men were at my house a little over one hour, but charged me only for the full hour. They did an excellent job and offered advice on how to remove the globes on the vanity lights when I got ready to paint the walls later on. They did an excellent job cleaning up. I will definitely call them again for future jobs.
