Hall Air Conditioning

Way over priced! $375 for a small 7 vented house 1350 sq ft home. They used an oversized vac and cleaned the vents up, but it still smells dusty in my house. Not worth that kind of money!

Job done in a timely manner and the crew even worked through lunch to complete the replacement in one day. John Ramirez is a excellent sales, service representative because he was knowledgeable, yet was not high pressure. He explained many things about the system and answered all my questions.

John was very responsive in coming out to give an estimate, and he was able to provide that quickly. He gave me good, basic information as to what was needed. Did not try to sell us an unneeded high-end unit. The installation went fine, and the unit is working well. The floor was just a bit messy afterwards.

They were there within a few hours and the issues fixed quickly.

This was the best service from a business that I have had in a long time. Kenneth Rich came to the house right on time and thoroughly evaluated our home and figured the size of the system we needed. Our old almost 30 year old system had always struggled to keep the house cool or warm. He said that it was a little too small to do the job. He recommended a 4 ton unit. He provided 3 possible equipment proposals. We chose a 16.5 seer mid range system with duel speed compressor and wi-fi controlled thermostat. We got 3 estimates from 3 top rated companies and Hall's was by far the best price for the equipment provided. Their price for their midrange system was only slightly higher than the estimates from the other two companies for their bottom end, 14 seer, single speed system with no wi-fi connection. They showed up right on time to do the installation and had it mostly completed in one day. They came back the next morning to finish a few things and set up and start the system. By mid morning we had nice cool air and the system is so quiet that we can hardly hear it running. It cools and heats every room just fine. We did have a little trouble with the programmable wi-fi thermostat and John came out immediately and replaced it with a new one. He gave us his cell phone # and told us to call him day or night if we had any problems.

I requested an estimate over a month ago. I called back a couple days later to confirm. Never heard from them again. Too busy I guess.

Not only did they provide service same day, they actually finished below their estimate. I forget to tell them I had an Angies List coupon and they horned it anyway. I could not have been happier with everything all around. Professional and explained everything I needed to know.

Service representative was very prompt and courteous. Normal spring/summer maintenance, plus drain line. Drain line for air conditioning unit had to be completely re-routed to outside dwelling, due to enclosure of porch. Representative had to drill through wall and brick to relocate drain outside residence.

Called and service was provided next day. The person providing the service called my cellphone prior to arrival to make sure I was available. He was courteous and professional, and most importantly, efficient and fast. The service rate was comparable to others in town - actually slightly lower. They honored my Angies List coupon despite not having a printer to print it out. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors and am delighted with their service.

First off, all HVAC service companies are _not_ the same: the differences in quality, integrity and what you get for your $ are vast!!!!!!! I was impressed with Hall A/C immediately: the only company of all I called that *instantly* gave me a quote over phone... to include service fee + price per LB of 410A Freon. The gal taking my call told me on the first contact! As you may know, others don't know, are reluctant, or worse -- will instead try to sell you a diagnostic/tune up -- which turns out to be a filter change, some minor cleaning, screw tightening, and basically and a bunch of nonsense you can do yourself. And worse, when they leave post "tune up", you might still be low on Freon (it happened to me). Not so with these guys. No sales pitch for junk I don't need, just a straight answer to my direct request. They also had the best price quote. They delivered the Freon service for the price exactly as estimated: I was permitted to see the Freon tank on the weight scale, so I could know how much was actually being serviced into my unit; to know if I was getting what I paid for. And the guy did it right -- measured line temperatures, changed A/C settings, re-measured indoor differential of intake and output air temps, serviced some more -- all by the book if you know a little about Freon servicing. A real, courteous, professional who kindly answered all my questions and didn't mind one bit as I stood by for quality checks. Now -- for the first time since installation in 2008 -- my 2.5 ton cheapy Amana cools my *whole* house during the 100+ days of Texas. I'm confident that, for the first time in its life, the unit is fully serviced with Freon. (Cuz -- you know -- Freon is so "expensive". Grrrrr -- you'd think a $7000 installation would include fully serviced Freon -- but I guess not.) It took me a while to find a great company like this - and I owe it in part to Angie's list. Reading reviews here by others, it sounded like these guys would be who I was looking for, and they are. I'd like to tell you about all the nightmares and rip offs I've endured with other companies, but this isn't the place for that. I just wish I had found them sooner -- wish they installed my unit in 2008. But then, maybe I wouldn't appreciate them as much. Can't say enough good things about Hall. Great first impression - integrity and quality to the core. Would use them again, no doubt.

They did a good job and charged what they said they would charge. They showed up on time and did what they said they were going to do. They were fine and seemed professional. They were a reputable company to call.

The condensation line installed by a previous company leaked repeatedly and was routed through the attic. I asked that the line be diverted into the bathroom drainage. This was not easy but was cheerfully done. We were pleased with the overall job.

i am a single lady with a house and this company sent out someone that worked with professionalism and friendliness...he explained to me how not to have this problem in the future.....the price was great.....and most important the unit is fixed!

After having received several estimates in the 7 to 8 grand range I was becoming disheartened but someone had told me that Hall would have more reasonable prices and that they were very Honest and would do a good job. So I gave them a call and the owner came out and gave me 4 estimates for 4 different seer/brand units. One of those was within what I felt I could afford and was more in keeping with the value of my home. They scheduled to come out and do the job just a few days later and this is during a record heat wave so I was shocked at how quickly they were able to get this job in. They showed up today - EXACTLY - on time and quickly went to work. It took them most the day - I believe they were done by about 3:45. They cleaned up everything and you can't even tell they had been here other than the nice cool air coming out of the vents! :) I upgraded to a programmable thermostat the upgraded filter that only has to be changed once a year and I chose the Payne 15 Seer unit. My house is now 4 hours into it and is already down to 77 inside. :) With it still being about 103 outside, I'm feeling very happy. The unit is quiet and I think I will be very pleased. I am also going to sign up for their maintenance plan which they offer to come out twice a year, change the filter and do 2 checkups on the systems a year. I felt it was a good price and a good idea. They did NOT do any HIGH pressure sales AT ALL. It was SO nice to have someone just give me the facts in a nice calm manner without trying to sell me something I don't need. I will recommend Hall to anyone, the owner Kenneth Rich seems like a good honest hard working guy that will do you right! Way to go Hall!
