It all started when one of the receivers in my Fathers house died. So my Father scheduled a technician to come. I personally was not at my Fathers home when the service call took place, but the next day I went over for a visit. I found that the service technician had put a Hopper DVR unit in the den and what they call a Joey in the living room. So I went to look at the den, I found that the service technician had disconnected several entertainment gaming consoles and an external hard drive and just left them disconnected! Is this the type of service Dish thinks is okay? I was mad, but, I brushed it off, chocking it up to businesses nowadays always giving horrid service. So I reinstalled all the equipment that no longer worked AND I integrated the Hopper DVR receiver into the whole system . Everything worked so I did not complain to Dish. So it gets better! That was the very first visit. So approx three weeks passes and my Father is at his wits end with fighting with this Joey thing. It never works correctly, turns off unexpectedly, sometimes will not even turn on etc... So he place another call to Dish. He wanted the Joey taken out and a regular, simple everyday receiver put in the living room, but just leave the Hopper DVR in the den. So the technician came again, but said he could not leave the Hopper if the Joey was going to be taken out. What????? So the next day I went over to see what Dish had done. Well...You guessed it...the den was taken all apart AGAIN! And left. The Living room and the den now had some sort of completely out of date, refurbished old receivers that looked like came from a yard sale! Now no room has DVR and I AGAIN had to put everything back together in the den! What kind of BS is this! Needless to say I will be canceling my Dish subscription, my Fathers subscription and my sisters. Three households!! and posting this letter on all websites that customers go to for reviews!
