 + -1 moreThe initial responce was excellent. I received an immediate call back and appointment which was kept. The temporary fix was done asap to get the AC back into operation to provide cooling relief. The explanation of the temporary fix and long term options and costs were clear and understandable. At no time did I feel pressured. After I made the decision for a new and improved replacement system, I received a next day appointment for installation. The installation was on time, professional and neat. I was impressed with the necessary duct modifications and routing of the new line set necessary to fit, both functionally and esthetically. I would recommend the provider to be considered by others.
Description of Work: The provider's name was referred by a neighbor who had used and liked his services. I needed help because my HVAC unit was not cooling. He immediately returned my call and set an appointment time later that day. He came and diagnosed the problem as a failing compressor and installed a start assist capacitor as a temporary fix to get the heat pump running again. He explained options for permanant fix taking into account age of my equipment, changes in refrigerant and heat pump efficiencies since my unit was installed, part versus complete HVAC replacement includind cost considerations, warranty options, and permanance of temporary fix. I was not pressured. As a result of this discussion I made my decision to replace the entire HVAC unit. The installation was scheduled and done the next day after I made my decision. The provider came and completed the intallation making necessary duct modifications for the inside unit to fit and and tie into existind duct and the new line set routing to connect to the outside unit.
