Like New Tub Repair & Refinishing

My husband and I just purchased a new home that needed quite a few repairs. The master bath was in bad shape. The home inspector said the shower pan needed to be refinished ASAP or it would need to be replaced in the near future (very costly). He specifically said to find a professional who specialized in fiberglass ~ not a handyman. So I signed into Angie's List and found Darryl. Upon our initial conversation he asked that I send him pictures of the damage. He gave me options for both the shower pan and the double sink vanity. He let me know that the shower pan could either be patched or completely refinished ~ the patching he said would be much less expensive. He also said the sink bowls could be refinished. Larry showed up as scheduled. Unfortunately due to a misunderstanding between Darryl and I, Larry didn't have the equipment to repair the sinks. Larry did explain the options concerning the bowls. Larry did a beautiful job on the shower pan ~ it looks and feels brand new!! I spoke with Darryl about the misunderstanding on the vanity. He followed up with Larry then sent me a very detailed email explaining what could and could not be done. The severe damage to the vanity top could not be repaired but the bowls could be refinished. I opted to just have the top replaced. I really appreciate the fact that Darryl gives you options on the repairs. He could have easily taken advantage of my husband and I but he didn't. It's so refreshing to deal with a business owner who is honest and has integrity. I will definitely refer Darryl and his company to my friends and family. I have already told my real estate agent about them!
