Some details remain to be dealt with under terms of the contract (not at all James' fault -- just things we're not yet ready to finish up). The job went well enough that we happily paid more than the contracted amount (he didn't ask for more -- we volunteered it).
Description of Work: Finish utility room & handicap./ utility bath: plumbing, wiring, tile floors & walls (including unenclosed shower), drop ceiling, doors; all but wood finishing.

+ 2 moreVery nice and enjoyable to work with. A lot of problem solving necessary. They are good Christian's (father and son). Honest ,thorough, good work. My husband will comment further after other work is done. We paid more than agreed upon and probably should have paid them even more. James is Type A personality and intends perfection.

+ -1 moreThey were fabulous. I recommended them to my son in law. I thought they were the most honest people I had met in a long time. They were fair priced.
Description of Work: I used Ellis Construction to replace some under the sink plumbing and plumbing around the toilet. They even did outside faucet plumbing. They completely changed out all of the pipes under the kitchen sink that were real, real old. They changed out the pipes for the hook up to the washer and dryer because they were completely rusted and they were old. They also replaced a shower head.

+ 9 moreEllis Construction did a beautiful job on all projects. My house had extensive termite damage and he rebuilt the rooms from the ground up. James Ellis had unique ideas and I left it in his capable hands. He definitely knows his business and I will not hesitate to hire him again for any job. I highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Extensive remodeling of a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. Remodeling of a utility room, which was not originally requested by me but was desparately needed. An addition of a sun room.
