These folks were the third and last of three estimates to install about 900 SF of Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors in my home. The first two estimates were fairly quick and came in a little less costly. However, what impressed me with this company, is that the estimate was quite detailed and very thorough. Whereas the others had no definite opinion about removing baseboards or told me there was no need, Chris was matter of fact that they must be removed and that it was simply a detail his team would take care of. Apparently, removing baseboards and putting them back on was just a part of the job and not doing so would effect my warranty. He indicated that he would decline the job if we did not agree to use excellent materials, underlayment and replace the sub-flooring if was not up to industry standard or constructed of particle board. He explained exactly why all these things were important and gave me the sense that he knew what he was talking about. When it was time to start the job, every single piece, transition or molding was planned for and present. Including felt pads which they attached to each piece of my furniture as they move it out of the way, so as to protect my new floor when they moved it back. I was amazed at how calculated and matter of fact these details were dealt with without having to request them myself. The day they were to start, their team showed up on time and began tearing up our old flooring. They spent four days in our home. They worked very hard, took few breaks and were thoughtful and polite to me and my family the entire time. They asked our opinion about things, listened to our concerns and left us with stunningly beautiful floors and a virtually flawless product. One last thing! They removed every single squeak out of my floors! I had a couple of rooms where the floors actually bounced a little as you walked through. Gone! The floors are solid as a rock. I highly recommend the company!
