We decided to have AC Unit replaced. Checked around and got at least four estimates. Stroops gave us a fair estimate as did 2 others. However, Stroops is a local business and we got a lot of positive input from friends in the area and we talked with the manager of Stroops and we pleased that they could do all that we needed to take care of our home. They contacted us when the time came to start the job, the men came out started the job promptly stayed on the job didn't goof off, removed the old unit, went under and sealed the duct work. They installed the new unit, tested the system cleaned up the area and left. It was a good job. And we appreciated their professional service.

They are the greatest. I have used them for many years when I need something. This has been maybe 40 years.

It was a fantastic experience. At one time it was really cold outside and my mother's heat pump froze. They were out here within two hours and got it fixed, which I thought was incredible. They are fabulous. We have used them many times for several years, and I love them. We used them twice last year. The employees are extremely polite. We feel like they are family. They are so nice and do a good job. They always get things fixed. They are not cheap, but they are quite reasonably priced. What they charge for Freon is not up to them. I don't think anybody could beat them. They are always so polite and nice.

They left everything in a mess and was very rude and disrespectful to me and my husband.

Joe Stroop of Stroops's Accurate Refrigeration, Inc met with us for a complete renovation of my mother in law's home, where I am acting as the General Contractor/Owner on the project. Joe did a thorough and insigtful energy audit, analysis of heating needs, options, and prices. Attentively listened to our needs and provided professional advice and options. As we our doing the project on a "fast track" timeline he had a proposal complete with audit, energy savings, cost analysis, and projected start and completion dates within 4 days, in spite of having a pre scheduled yearly family gathering out of state, which he announced up front in our initial meeting. He provided both email and phone contacts and encouraged me to call even on his holiday. I needed to several times due to structural changes and calls were answered, emails responded to immediately. His bid proposal was complete, professional, comprehensive, and backed by a long history of reputable work, and an impressive client list. His references checked out completely and were preceded by his Father's long time reputation in the area also. During the project we have had continued changes requiring rework, rerouting of duct work, and changes that were not known. Joe personally met with me on each and every change, had a "can do" attitude and provided thoughtful insight as the contractor/owner and the structural engineer resulting in both placement aingnd efficiency resulting in a far better solution than was suggested to him. He responded to all changes easily and performed the changes immediately and to impeccable standards. His crew performed to high standards, and were courteous and responsive to both praise and criticism (had not cleaned up an area) and when told, immediately resolved the problem and with no further supervision. The crew was respectful meeting our requests for no smoking, removing shoes in carpeted areas. They worked hard in a very old crawl space and at no times had a negative attitude . Stroops exceeded every expectation that can be asked of a service company in providing excellent design, installation, price, and delivery. Having dealt with HVAC contractors for over 35 years they rate AAA. I will use Stroop's Accurate Refrigeration on any additional residential or commercial projects I may do in the area.

I have great admiration for them and I have been using them for many years. They are extremely nice and helpful to me.
