To date: refusing to honor warranty. May change/update rating based on future actions. Bought home w/ recent upgrades, incl. $15K roof installed 8/17/12. Moved in 7/3/14, rained Saturday morning, 7/19; water poured from attic thru to wall of bath, window sill & ceiling. Panic call to Greenbriar Construction (installers of old house roof) got it fixed. They sd roof improperly installed around around pipes. Also looked at rest of roof - told us chimney area also improperly installed, flashing not used- (to me, LOOKS like rubber coving, sealed with globs of rubber cement) - and would leak next. Got Invoice/warranty from prior owner, and called Barrett. Spoke w/Robert Fry & Lori Mitchell, who sd warranty "probably" void because of home sale, but they could look at it for a fee. She would have Mr. Barrett call me at his convenience. Web search found court docs from Knoxville -another new owner had to sue (and won on appeal) to get Barrett to honor work. Praying that's not the case here.

They did a very poor job and were very inefficient. They left a lot of debris in our yard. They did damage to our gutters and deck. They were very unresponsive initially when we called them; they took two weeks to get somebody in to actually look at the damage. I have every confidence that they are going to fix the damage but I would never recommend them. They were not at all professional and were horrible. We found a whole cup full of nails strewn all over our driveway when they were done; I wouldn’t use them even if they paid me.
