Trenton Floor Ctr

We built a new home near the end of 2013 and we went to several flooring centers to find the right one. We chose Trenton Floor Center based on a number of factors. Below are the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Price: The prices for flooring and installation was much better than everywhere else we had looked. 2. History: We had used Trenton Floor Center before and were satisfied with the quality and the price of the work. 3. Selection: My wife and I were able to find exactly the flooring we wanted without any issues. 4. Service after the sale: As I mentioned above, we had used them before and were satisfied completely even after the sale with questions and such. 5. Knowledge: If you are interested in flooring that they don't sell themselves, they will happily work with you to find someone who does. We ran across this when we chose to go with a tile bathroom. They actually showcase a local contractor's work and put us into contact with them to get the job done. Cons: 1. Professionalism & Punctuality: We had to order our carpet since it was not in stock. When we placed the order, we were given a delivery date of a week or so out. This was postponed 2 separate times and caused delays in finishing the house. Also, once the carpet arrived, the installation team that was originally supposed to do the work was scheduled elsewhere and a sub-contractor was brought in. The sub-contractors did a decent job in most places, but there are some issues that haven't been addressed yet. On top of this, when the sub-contractors were finished, they overloaded their van. A roll of scrap carpet was sticking out of the back too far and when they closed the door, the roll went straight through the back glass, shattering it all over the edge of our driveway. To this day I still find glass shards in that general area. 2. Lack of design services: When we chose to use tile for our master bathroom, we were quite lost as to how to actually lay it out. The contractor that we used to install the tile was a little helpful, but his best advice was to go and look at a tile warehouse in Memphis that has a large showroom. That is exactly what we did and we were able to choose the tile we liked and the general trim details we wanted. The contractor did the rest once we actually met with him and worked it out on paper. 3. Communications: As mentioned above, our carpet was delayed twice. Neither time did we receive a call from Trenton Floor Center that the carpet was going to be delayed. We had to actively call them to get that information. Are there things that I am not satisfied with? Sure. Are there things that could have been handled differently by the contractor? Indeed. Would I use this company again or recommend their products and services to others? Absolutely. Even though we had some simple issues here and there, the service that Trenton Floor Center offers is still head and shoulders above others that we researched. If I have an issue with my carpet, I can call them and they come out and fix it. If I have an issue with my tile, I can call their sub-contractor and they will come out and fix it. Overall, I think Trenton Floor Center did a good job and I'm glad we chose them for our flooring needs.

SUPER !!! These people were the tops. Extremely nice and helpful in every way. The wife changed her mind , I believe, 3 times, not a problem with them at all. They provided very large samples for us to take to our home we were buying, to decide which we liked best. I did my own measuring at first, to get an idea as to the cost figures, they came and did the measuring to save me money !!, that was even better. They gave me a date and time they would install the flooring, they arrived 4 minutes early, now that is prompt timing I'd say.. Talk about professional, the installers were really great guys, so very nice and polite , the wife and I were very impressed with their work, and manors. Now back to the actual store, they did not try high pressure to sell us on any certain type of product, the final one we decided on, was actually one we were shown that had just arrived to their business. It was shown to us, along with many others. Not just the older stock items. These people were so helpful and understanding , knowing this was a big decision for us, since we are both older and most likely this will be the last time we will buy another home. Over all, this company rates a 5 star in our book. Great job and thank you Trenton Floor Center

I have spoken with many in my area that have used this company, that gave them good ratings, upon my meetings with them, I was impressed, they were very helpful, no high pressure sales etc. I will be using them within the next week or so, in my new home, so I will be reporting back as soon as I can.
