I think that they are who my husband uses now and he takes care of that but I would say that our experience with them has been good. I think that the last service that they did for us went well and my husband was okay with their price.

I had a very good experience with them. They did a really good job. The service went real good.

Technicians showed up and provided services and full lawn analysis and gave estimate for additional service of tree and shrub care program. Applications are reasonably priced. Will continue to use this provider in the future.

They did a good job and are very responsive. If I call up and have any concerns they come right out and treat it. The owners are actively involved in the business. I've talked to them when I thought the pricing was a little bit out of line because their competitors were offering a better deal, so they were able to accommodate some changes for that. Its a very customer friendly and customer centric business.

They are excellent. We deal with David Owens, and he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They come out on a regular basis to weed and that kind of a thing. Their knowledge and customer service stands out. Mr. Owens contacted me, and I thought that he sounded very knowledgeable, so I started using them. I have used a couple of companies before them, and I have not been as happy as I am with second nature.

The turf in the most erosionally sensitive area of my lawn was damaged by Second Nature's machine / operator. I have spent nearly $1000 on Second Nature over the past few years. The monthly cost of about $36 is reasonable. However, recently my lawn was treated by a person from Second Nature riding a machine that spread the chemicals. There is a particularly steep incline in one area that was evidently traversed numerous times by the machine. The turf, being quite wet, was skinned back to bare soil in a number of places. Being quite shaded and steep (facing North), it has been most difficult getting grass to grow, but after a year and a half of careful cultivation I succeeded until this last application. I eMailed photos of the damage to Second Nature and was assured over the phone later that day that an owner would contact me the following day at 9a. No follow-up call was made. In an eMail I was offered the next two treatments free. What I really wanted was for the owner to see first hand what had happened and to assure me steps would be taken to preclude any similar event in the future. Since that follow-up never happened, I canceled my account with Second Nature. This was not a money issue. I'm repairing the damage myself and fully expect it will take a year to regrow the damaged areas. The issue is that Second Nature is not interested in truly caring for my lawn. First, the operator of the machine should have immediately recognized the issue of the machine stripping the grass from the soil and stopped. Secondly - and just as important - I consider their failure to follow-up to be an indicator of indifference to the customer, and completely unprofessional. There are too many good companies out there who really do care and respond. Don't waste your time or money on this one.

Second Nature Lawn Care is very professional. They arrive on time to the scheduled appointment. The staff keeps you informed. If you request a service but it is not the right season they will alert you to this. Also they never try to sell you services you don't want.

I have used Second Nature Lawn for twelve years. They have now allowed the lawn to die and will not do anything for us. We will not use them any more.
